Last night we came together to celebrate the incredible sporting achievements of our students! 🏆✨

The atmosphere was electric - the leis were out, the cheers were loud, and there were big smiles all around from our students, staff, and families.

A massive thank you to our special guests for coming through, whether you were presenting on stage or joining us in the audience to celebrate:

• MC: Linda Hellesoe
• Guest Speaker: Grace Fusitu'a
• Tuia Waitākere: Shanley Joyce
• KGC Board Members for coming through to support and celebrate our rangatahi.

Our Head of Extracurricular Activities captured the spirit of the night best, reminding us that the power of our school lies in our strong community. We are small, but we are mighty, and last night’s achievements proved just that!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support. We are so proud of all our student athletes!

⚡ TWO FREE LIVE SESSIONS

🧠 TUESDAY 20 OCTOBER | 7–8 PM (NZDT)

PLAY BRAVE – Building Confidence & Performing Under Pressure
Anna Veale | Mental Performance Coach

Confidence isn't just something you either have or don't have. It's something you can develop.

Anna will explore how young athletes can build confidence, manage nerves, respond to mistakes and perform under pressure — helping them develop the mental skills to back themselves both on and off the field.

🥗 WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER | 7–8 PM (NZDT)

FUELING SPORT & SCHOOL
Dr Katie Schofield (PhD) | Elite Sports Nutritionist

Young athletes are growing, training, competing and recovering — and their bodies need the right support to do it all.

Katie will explore what young athletes really need to fuel their bodies, how to recognise whether they're eating enough, what balanced meals look like and how to build a positive relationship with food that supports both health and performance.

💬 ASK THEIR OWN QUESTIONS!

Both sessions are LIVE and interactive, giving students, parents and coaches the opportunity to ask their own questions and hear directly from Anna and Katie.
There's no cost to attend, and everyone is welcome.

🎟️ REGISTER FREE
👉 https://fuelingyouthathletes.com/live

Students and families can register for either session or both.
