Van Amersfoort Racing In 2007 werd VAR voor de tweede keer kampioen in het hoog aangeschreven Internationaal Duits Formule 3 kampioenschap.

Frits van Amersfoort is sinds 1975 actief in de autosport en heeft in de beginjaren al het fundament gelegd voor een uniek raceteam, dat sinds 1986 als onderneming opereert. Sinds enige jaren is Van Amersfoort Racing, internationaal ook wel als VAR aangeduid, als één van de zeer weinige ondernemingen in de autosport als besloten vennootschap actief. Van Amersfoort Racing heeft met meer dan 90 race

overwinningen, 15 nationale- en internationale kampioenschappen en vele internationale onderscheidingen en records, als Nederlands meest succesvolle raceteam, een solide naam gevestigd in de autosport. Grote Nederlandse coureurs in de autosport zoals Jos & Max Verstappen, Huub Rothengatter, Christijan Albers, Tom Coronel, maar ook vele buitenlandse coureurs, zijn door VAR opgeleid op hun weg naar de Formule 1. Vele ex-medewerkers konden na hun opleiding bij VAR direct aan de slag bij Formule 1 teams zoals Benetton (Renault F1), BAR (Brawn GP) en Sauber (BMW F1). Dit was voor autofabrikant Volkswagen de aanleiding om een samenwerking met VAR aan te gaan. VAR heeft hiermee de status van officieel fabrieksteam voor Volkswagen Motorsport.

Barcelona, that’s a wrap 🇪🇸🏁

A weekend filled with strong performances and promising pace across both Formula 2 and Formula 3

Our F3 squad showed strong pace throughout the weekend, consistently fighting at the front and finishing on a high with a brilliant P2 for Hiyu Yamakoshi in Sunday’s Feature Race 🥈

In F2, the team showed competitive speed throughout the event, building on the progress made so far this season and gathering valuable data to carry forward into the upcoming rounds 💪

A big thank you to everyone in the team for their efforts this weekend. Plenty to be proud of, and plenty to look forward to.
