Since her launch in 2009, Albatros has built an impressive cruising record. From the waters of Northern Europe to the remote wilderness of Spitsbergen, she has covered countless miles with ease.

Inside, the light and practical interior is designed for extended cruising, creating a welcoming living space for life aboard over long distances.

What are the odds? 🌎
Two Dutch-built sisterships meeting in a remote fjord in Greenland, surrounded by dense morning haze and an almost overwhelming silence.

While sailing the Bestevaer 55 'Morning Haze' from Greenland to Alaska through the Northwest Passage, her owner encountered fellow Bestevaer 56 'Tranquilo'. Both yachts were following the same legendary route, but in opposite directions.

In one of the most remote sailing regions on Earth, encounters like this are exceptionally rare. Seeing two Bestevaers together in the Arctic wilderness was nothing short of magical. ✨
