The founding brothers of Enksail Yachts

Enksail Yachts was founded by three brothers: Marko van Enkhuizen, Jan Visser and Ronald van Enkhuizen.

With more than thirty years of experience in yacht building, they have developed extensive technical knowledge and a strong understanding of what owners value on board. Over the years, countless conversations with yacht owners have helped shape their vision of a comfortable, safe and highly personal sailing yacht.

That combination of craftsmanship, practical experience and close attention to the owner remains at the heart of Enksail Yachts today. Every yacht is designed around the way its owner wants to sail, travel and live on board.

From the family-owned shipyard Gebroeders van Enkhuizen in Makkum, the three founders work together with a dedicated team to build custom aluminium sailing yachts.

We have been nominated!

The first Enksail Halcyon 50 ever built has been nominated for Boat of the Year at Hiswa te Water 2026.

This year we launched the Halcyon 50: an aluminium sailing yacht with hybrid propulsion from Integrel Solutions, developed together with Sea Level naval architects. The hybrid system allows for quiet, near-silent motoring on electric power, and the electric motor also functions as a generator. The Halcyon is available from 50 to 80 feet and can be tailored fully to the owner's wishes.

The design comes from the three brothers behind our family shipyard (from left to right: Marko van Enkhuizen, Jan Visser, Ronald van Enkhuizen). After thirty years of building yachts, and countless conversations with owners who wanted a more open, brighter interior, that wish became the starting point for the Halcyon. It shows in details like the galley in the deckhouse, the lowering window between deckhouse and cockpit, and the large hull windows that bring the outside in.

Step aboard the Enksail Halcyon 50 at Hiswa te Water 2026!

From 2 to 6 September, we will be exhibiting the Enksail Halcyon 50 at the Bataviahaven in Lelystad during Hiswa te water.

This aluminium sailing yacht was built by our family-owned shipyard, based in Makkum, and is designed for comfortable and safe long-distance cruising.

More details about the exact berth will follow later. We look forward to welcoming you on board during the show!

Building our largest Enksail Noordkaper yet!

We are excited to share that we have an order to build a new Enksail Noordkaper 52, the largest Enksail Noordkaper we have built.

The design process is now in full swing, in close collaboration with the owner, to create a yacht that truly reflects their wishes and sailing plans.

More to follow as this special project takes shape.
