All to play for yesterday as Pigs 1 took on Greate Pier in a battle to avoid relegation. Both sides knew exactly what was on the line, and it showed with a strong performance from both teams from start to finish.
In the end Pigs 1 came out on top! This result means we stay in the 2nd Division for another season 💪🏼

But first, it’s time for Amsterdam 7s and a well-earned summer break ☀️

Last Tuesday our LadyPigs welcomed 15 friends, sisters, and coworkers onto the pitch to try rugby for the very first time. From passing and tackling to learning how to scrum, everyone got stuck in and gave it their all 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who came down and gave rugby a go. We hope to see you back on the pitch with us again soon 💚🖤

This Sunday, Pigs 1 take on Greate Pier in a big clash as they fight to stay in the 2nd Division. One final match to end the season. One last push. They need all the support they can get from the sidelines, so come down and cheer them on. See you then!

The juniors have been putting in the work these past weeks, training hard for the Beach Rugby Tournament in Hoek van Holland. Now we’re hoping to see the same sunshine, energy, and team spirit we’ve seen at training at the tournament. Bring it on! 💪

The ladies team finished the season on a high! They went into the game ready for a tough opponent and a great display of determination, fighting spirit, and solid defence led them to a well-earned 21–12 win over Pickwick.

Under a blazing sun at Sportpark de Bezelhorst in Doetinchem, the colts faced a strong Blue Lions side for their final match of the season. In a thrilling game, the Duuvelse Wild Pigs came out on top with a hard-fought 22–19 victory. Hard work and determination paid off!

A huge thank you to Erik and Iwan for the coaching, and to Esther, Edwin, and Alex for managing the team throughout the season. And of course, thanks to all parents and supporters for driving, helping behind the bar, and everything else during the year.

Final matches of the season this week for our Ladies and Colts teams. Both sides are playing at home through our cluster partners, with the Colts taking the field in Doetinchem and the Ladies in Nijmegen. Come down, support the teams, and help them finish the season strong 💚

Our referees are once again in action this weekend! Cosmo will lead the final round of the competition for the 3e klasse heren. Meanwhile Nouri will first take charge of our ladies match before stepping in as Assistant Referee for the play-off clash. Alongside him on the line will be Lorcán, who finally makes his long-awaited return from injury. Great to see everyone back out there. Best of luck!
