SHORT GIRLIES, tell me you can’t relate

A year ago I could not stay consistent for the life of me

I told myself I was too tired
I should sleep in
I should listen to my body
I was too busy

every excuse in the book

but I’m more busy now than I was then
and I’m doing better than I ever have

the difference wasn’t the plan
I didn’t need new workouts or a new schedule

What finally changed was I stopped holding myself to a low standard and actually decided to follow through

once I made that shift,

showing up became easy
4 days a week, consistently
leaner than I’ve ever been
and more confident in my body than I have been in a really long time

the crazy thing, my confidence has skyrocketed
all because I chose to actually hold a high standard

Three years of lifting, hitting PRs all the time, and years of tracking macros, but she couldn’t see progress

What Hailey Bieber said about pilates strength training matters more for short girls!!!

more muscle mass on our frame equates to shape so we end up being toned and defined, and not just skinny and soft

When we have more muscle on our body, we also have more caloric flexibility as well as a faster metabolism

So while Pilates is an amazing form of movement
For my short girl, I recommend pairing it with strength training, proper nutrition for your goals, and a lifestyle change that makes it feel sustainable 🫶

SHORT GIRLIES, read this👇

No one actually taught petite women how to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF

so most women stay stuck:
losing and gaining the same 5-10 lbs
working out SO hard (for wayyyy too many hours)
and still feeling skinny soft rather than feeling lean, toned, defined

This is why:

1. Your margin for error is smaller than you think

A taller woman can be a little inconsistent and still make progress
on a petite body, those little “off track” moments add up FAST

2. Eating less eventually stops working

A lot of petite women I speak with are already under-eating
and after enough time, your body adapts to it
so now you’re:
eating low calories, working hard, and still not losing weight

3. Cardio is backfiring on you

Cardio isn’t bad
but adding more cardio on top of already low calories usually just:
❌ tanks recovery
❌ increases cravings
❌ makes your body look softer, not tighter

4. You’re not building enough muscle to change your shape

On a petite body,
muscle is what creates the look
Without it,
you usually just end up smaller not leaner

5. You’re doing too much and progressing nothing
more workouts, sweat, soreness, and random exercises
but no actual progression

Petite training works better with:
A few really strong, intentional lifts while following progressive overload

This is where most petite women get stuck
they work SO hard
but follow advice built for taller bodies
then assume they’re the problem

You’re not,
but the strategy is

I used to think I needed:
❌ lower calories
❌ more cardio
❌ more workouts

but what actually changed my body was:
✨ building muscle properly
✨ being more intentional
✨ and having a real strategy for my petite body

Client B (5’2”, 22 yo) came to us working out 5 days a week, jogging before every session, doing everything she knew how to do.

The scale wasn’t moving. She hated getting on it. She had no idea what she was eating or why her body wasn’t changing.

But the answer wasn’t in eating even less, she was only eating 1000 calories a day

6 months later she’s down 16 lbs eating more than when she started while working another job and living a more vibrant life

She cried when she saw 198 on the scale. She put on a bathing suit at the beach and felt genuinely proud of herself.

That’s not just a physical transformation. That’s a woman who finally understands her body.

When you want to become the best version of yourself

Not something to be avoided

When you want to become the best version of yourself, you challenge yourself to learn the new skills, to get uncomfortable, to have the mirror held up to you

When you’re young, there’s a LOT of places you can put your energy
👉🏼 Getting better in your career
👉🏼 Building social circles
👉🏼 Dating
👉🏼 Moving to your dream city

When you show up better for yourself in the small moments, it’s easier for you to build your dream life in the bigger moments

So increase of excuses, start seeking out new opportunities for you to get uncomfortable
