Very well executed 35 meter dive today at Ras il Hobz for the Advanced Nitrox and DecoPro course of Bence. Well done 🙂 finished on the plateau at 6 meters doing skills. 2 more days to go, keep it as it is.

We’re very happy to officially welcome Chris Dennis to the Gozo Technical Diving team.

After 15 years at Bubbles Dive Centre — a journey that took him from Divemaster to owner — Chris decided it was time for a new chapter, and we honestly couldn’t have found a better match for GTD.

Chris brings with him a huge amount of experience in technical diving and technical instruction, including:

Technical Instructor Courses
Hypoxic Trimix Courses
Sidemount & Twin-set Courses
Cavern Courses
Tec Tune-up / Skills Refresher Programs (OC/CCR)

Since joining us in May, Chris already feels like part of the family.

What makes this collaboration special is not only Chris’ experience, but also the fact that we share the same vision of technical diving education:
high quality teaching, strong fundamentals, proper mentoring, attention to detail, and a safety-first approach with no shortcuts.

At GTD, we strongly believe that technical diving instruction should go far beyond simply “getting certified”. Our goal is to create confident, capable and thinking divers through real-world experience and professional mentorship.

Chris has already played a major role in developing our internship program, which has started very successfully this season. We currently have 6 interns joining us this year, with 2 already on site and fully integrated into daily operations.

Under Chris’ supervision — and with the combined experience of the entire GTD instructional team — our interns are receiving the support, mentoring and real technical diving exposure needed to become great technical instructors in the future.
