⚾ The Pat Pace Academy 2026 has officially started this week! ⚾

We are proud to see another great step forward for youth baseball and softball in Malta, with registrations increasing by 44% this year, bringing the total to 51 kids participating in the academy.

This growth shows the continued interest and passion for our sport among young athletes and their families. The Malta Baseball and Softball Association remains committed to creating more opportunities for children to learn, play, develop, and enjoy the game.

A big thank you to all parents, coaches, volunteers, and everyone supporting the Pat Pace Academy.

Here’s to another exciting year of growth, teamwork, and fun! ⚾🇲🇹

The Malta Baseball and Softball Association would like to congratulate Hon. Byron Camilleri on his appointment as Minister for Education and Sport.

We wish him every success in this important role, which is vital for the development of our young people, our athletes, and the future of sport in Malta.

As an Association, we look forward to working together with the Ministry to continue strengthening baseball and softball in Malta, while creating more opportunities for children, youths, and athletes to participate, grow, and represent our country with pride.

The Malta Baseball and Softball Association also takes this opportunity to thank outgoing Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, Hon. Clifton Grima, for his dedication and commitment to sport in Malta. It was a pleasure working alongside him, and we are grateful for the collaboration and support extended to our Association during his tenure.

Congratulations Minister, and best wishes for this new chapter.

After an incredible series comeback from 3-0 down, the 2026 Malta National Baseball League Finals will now be decided in a winner-takes-all Game 7 ⚾🔥

Both teams have shown tremendous determination, resilience, and quality throughout the series, setting up what promises to be an unforgettable finale to the season.

Organised by the Malta Baseball and Softball Association, the Pat Pace Academy has seen an incredible 44% increase in registrations this year a milestone that speaks volumes about the growth and success of the programme.

This growth is more than just numbers. It reflects the amazing experience our young athletes are having and the trust parents continue to place in the Academy. Word is spreading, families are sharing their positive experiences, and more children are joining to discover and enjoy baseball and softball in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

A huge thank you to all our players, parents, coaches, and supporters for being part of this journey. Your enthusiasm and belief in what we are building together is making all the difference.

⚾ GAME 6 IS SET! ⚾

The Mustangs Baseball and Softball Club kept the Malta Baseball League Finals alive with a 3-1 victory over Mellieħa Baseball & Softball Club in Game 5, reducing the series deficit to 3-2.

After trailing 3-0 in the series, the Mustangs have battled back with consecutive wins, while Mellieħa remain just one victory away from the championship.

Will Mellieħa close out the series, or will the Mustangs force a decisive Game 7? Come and find out!
