Nobody is judging the season you’re in.
We’re just done pretending the same 8 habits will suddenly start working.
You don’t need a new plan every Thursday.
You need one you can actually live with on a regular Tuesday.

Your dream body and your “ideal” scale weight are not the same goal.
Muscle takes up less space than fat. You can drop sizes, look tighter, and feel stronger while the number on the scale barely moves — or even goes up.
That’s body recomposition. The scale is one data point. Composition is the story.
Body recomposition starts here.

🚨 Stuck on a weight-loss plateau? Don’t immediately cut your calories!

One of the easiest strategies we give our BodymetRx clients is to increase daily activity before continuing to reduce food intake.

That doesn’t necessarily mean adding another workout. Think more movement throughout your day:

🚶‍♀️ Take a short walk
⏰ Get up and move every hour if you work at a desk
🅿️ Park a little farther away
👟 Take a longer walk before or after work
🔄 Add “movement snack” breaks throughout your day
📈 Increase your daily step count

These small increases in NEAT (non-exercise activity thermogenesis) can help increase your daily energy expenditure and may be just what you need to get past a plateau.

Remember: sometimes the answer isn’t to eat less—it’s to move more.

Not sure how many calories you should actually be eating? At BodymetRx, we can measure your resting metabolic rate with a personalized metabolism test and use that information to help determine a calorie target that fits your body and goals.

📲 Ready to stop guessing? Reach out to BodymetRx and schedule your personal metabolism test today!

Your athlete may not need to train harder. They may need to FUEL better. 🔥

Under-fueling doesn’t only affect strength, speed, or endurance. When young athletes consistently eat too little or don’t consume enough carbohydrates and overall energy the effects can show up mentally on the field too.

Brain fog.
Slower reactions.
Difficulty concentrating.
Hesitation and poor decision-making.
Fatigue late in games.
Changes in mood and increased frustration.

And here’s something young athletes especially need to hear:

Being lighter does not automatically mean being faster.

Teen athletes are simultaneously growing, developing AND training. Their bodies need enough energy to support all three.

Food isn’t something an athlete has to “earn.” It is the fuel their body and brain use to run, recover, think, react and perform.

Carbohydrates fuel high-intensity activity. Protein supports muscle repair and recovery. Dietary fats, vitamins, minerals and adequate overall calories all contribute to healthy development and athletic performance.

At BodymetRx, we want athletes to understand their bodies not fear food or chase an arbitrary number on the scale.

The goal isn’t simply to weigh less.
The goal is to build a stronger, healthier, better-fueled athlete.

👉 Swipe through to see what under-fueling can do to an athlete’s brain AND performance.

Save this for your athlete and share it with another sports parent. ❤️🖤

Does your student athlete actually eat enough to train, grow, and recover?
After-school sports + homework + a growing body is a lot. Guessing usually isn’t enough.
We test kids and build nutrition that fits real life.
Bring your student athlete in.
