In Loving Memory of Late Razook Latheef
Today, we pause in deep gratitude and remembrance of a man whose vision, passion, and dedication laid the foundation for what we proudly call Madina Rugby.
When rugby was still finding its place in our community, Mr. Razook Latheef stood firm with a dream. A dream of building a team that didn’t just play the game, but lived it with passion, discipline, and brotherhood. He was a man of deep commitment, quiet strength, and unwavering belief in the power of sport to change lives.
Without his pioneering efforts, Madina Rugby would never have been what it is today. His presence on the sidelines, his mentorship off the field, and his tireless work behind the scenes laid the foundation for a team that stands proud even today united, competitive, and driven.
He didn’t seek recognition. He didn’t chase applause. But his legacy speaks louder than words in every young boy who dares to wear the jersey, in every match we play, and in every life Madina Rugby touches.
Even though he is no longer with us, his spirit continues to guide Madina Rugby in our values, in our victories, in our struggles, and in our dreams. He was not just the founder member of Madina Rugby, he was, and always will be its heartbeat.
May Allah (SWT) accept all his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him the highest station in Jannah. Ameen.
Thank you, Mr. Razook.
For the sacrifices. For the vision. For the love you gave this game and this family.
You may be gone, but your legacy will never fade.
Forever remembered. Forever honored. Madina Rugby stands because you built the first stone.
