First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has praised the power of art and music in transforming young lives, highlighting Ghetto Classics as a strong example of how talent nurtured through support can open opportunities and drive lasting change.

Speaking at the Ghetto Classics Charity Golf Tournament at Migaa Golf Club, she celebrated the programme’s 18-year impact through music education, mentorship, and scholarships reaching over 1,500 young people in Kenya.

She urged continued investment in youth through the arts, noting it builds confidence, hope, and opportunity, while strengthening communities and shaping a more inclusive future.
