Secondo appuntamento in Italia per MRT Racing Team Beta Factory che dopo la Sardegna ha preso parte al Gran Premio del Trentino, quinto round del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026, che è stato ospitato dallo storico circuito di Pietramurata nell’alto Garda Trentino.Diciannovesimo al termine delle prove cronometrate, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) non è riuscito a concludere la qualifica. Costretto a schierarsi per ultimo al cancelletto nelle manche titolate, il pilota belga nella prima manche è rimasto vittima di una caduta e ha concluso la sua rimonta in venticinquesima posizione. Nella seconda manche, malgrado un’altra partenza sfortunata, Jago ha recuperato fino alla ventesima posizione raccogliendo un punto che gli ha permesso di finire ventiduesimo assoluto.Ancora alla ricerca dello stato di forma migliore dopo l’infortunio, Rick Elzinga (Beta RX450) ha segnato il trentesimo tempo in qualifica. Ventisettesimo in qualifica, il pilota olandese ha chiuso la prima manche al trentunesimo posto mentre si è ritirato nella seconda.Buone prestazioni per Alexis Fueri (Beta RX250 2t) nel Campionato europeo EMX250. Sesto nel suo gruppo di prove cronometrate, sabato il pilota francese è stato sfortunato nella prima manche: coinvolto nella caduta di gruppo al via non ha potuto riprendere la gara. Nella seconda Alexis ha centrato l’holeshot e ha guidato la corsa nei primi giri. In seguito, ha subito il rientro di alcuni avversari ma ha tagliato il traguardo con un ottimo quinto posto. Malgrado lo zero in gara uno ha finito tredicesimo nell’assoluta di giornata.Sempre nell’europeo EMX250 Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2t) nelle cronometrate ha segnato il sesto tempo del suo gruppo di qualifica. Nella prima manche, dopo essere scattato a ridosso della top 10, è riuscito a rimontare fino alla nona posizione. Positiva anche gara due con il pilota toscano capace di terminare la corsa al quattordicesimo posto. Decimo assoluto, Brando è ventunesimo nella classifica di campionato.

The MRT Racing Team Beta Factory made its second appearance in Italy, taking part in the Trentino Grand Prix—the fifth round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship—following its race in Sardinia. The event was hosted by the historic Pietramurata circuit in the Upper Garda Trentino region.

Finishing 19th in the timed practice sessions, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) was unable to complete qualifying. Forced to start last at the gate in the main races, the Belgian rider crashed in the first race and finished his comeback in 25th position. In the second race, despite another unfortunate start, Jago fought his way back to 20th position, earning a point that allowed him to finish 22nd overall.Still searching for top form after his injury, Rick Elzinga (Beta RX450) posted the 30th-fastest time in qualifying. Starting 27th in the race, the Dutch rider finished the first race in 31st place but retired in the second.Alexis Fueri (Beta RX250 2t) delivered strong performances in the EMX250 European Championship. Sixth in his qualifying group, the French rider was unlucky in the first race on Saturday: caught up in a group crash at the start, he was unable to resume the race. In the second race, Alexis took the holeshot and led the race in the early laps. Later, he was overtaken by some rivals but crossed the finish line with an excellent fifth-place finish. Despite scoring zero points in race one, he finished thirteenth overall for the day.Also in the EMX250 European Championship, Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2t) posted the sixth-fastest time in his qualifying group during timed practice. In the first race, after starting just outside the top 10, he managed to fight his way back up to ninth position. Race two was also positive, with the Tuscan rider finishing the race in fourteenth position. Finishing 10th overall, Brando is 21st in the championship standings.With the consecutive races in Sardinia and Trentino now behind them, the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory will return to the track at the end of May for the French Grand Prix, the sixth round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship, which will be hosted by the Lacapelle Marival circuit.

Il circuito “Riola Sand” ha ospitato il Gran Premio della Sardegna, quarto round del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026. Il tracciato oristanese, con la sua sabbia profonda, è universalmente riconosciuto come uno dei più difficili e impegnativi dell’intera stagione.
Nella classe MXGP Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) ha segnato il diciottesimo tempo nelle prove cronometrate. In qualifica non è stato fortunato in partenza ma ha chiuso la manche in diciannovesima posizione. In gara uno il pilota belga è scattato a ridosso della quindicesima posizione e ha concluso diciassettesimo. Purtroppo, una caduta non gli ha permesso di portare a termine la seconda manche.Gara difficile anche per Rick Elzinga (Beta RX450) non ancora al 100% dal punto di vista fisico dopo l’infortunio che l’ha lasciato fuori nelle prime gare. Ventiseiesimo al termine delle cronometrate, il pilota olandese in qualifica ha terminato ventisettesimo. La carenza di allenamento e le difficili condizioni del tracciato hanno costretto Rick a un doppio ritiro nelle manche titolate.Alexis Fueri (Beta RX250 2T), impegnato nel terzo round del Campionato Europeo EMX250, ha chiuso diciannovesimo al termine delle prove cronometrate, il pilota francese in gara uno ha subito un calo fisico terminando ancora diciannovesimo. Nella seconda manche è caduto in partenza. Ripartito praticamente ultimo ha concluso la sua rimonta al ventiseiesimo posto.Sempre nella EMX250, Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2T) nella seconda manche è riuscito a tagliare il traguardo in zona punti, al ventesimo posto.Archiviata la gara di Riola Sardo, il prossimo fine settimana il Beta MRT Racing Team sarà impegnato ancora in Italia. Il circuito “Ciclamino” di Pietramurata ospiterà il Gran Premio del Trentino, sesto appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026.

The “Riola Sand” circuit hosted the Sardinia Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship. The Oristano track, with its deep sand, is widely recognized as one of the most difficult and demanding of the entire season.
In the MXGP class, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) posted the 18th-fastest time in timed practice. In qualifying, he had a poor start but finished the heat in 19th position. In race one, the Belgian rider started near 15th position and finished 17th. Unfortunately, a crash prevented him from finishing the second heat.It was also a difficult race for Rick Elzinga (Beta RX450), who is still not 100% physically after the injury that sidelined him in the early races. Twenty-sixth at the end of the timed practice sessions, the Dutch rider finished twenty-seventh in qualifying. A lack of training and the difficult track conditions forced Rick to retire twice in the main heats.Alexis Fueri (Beta RX250 2T), competing in the third round of the EMX250 European Championship, finished 19th at the end of qualifying. In Race 1, the French rider suffered a physical slump and finished 19th again. In Race 2, he crashed at the start. Freddo e maltempo hanno caratterizzato il fine settimana del Gran Premio di Svizzera, terzo round del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026, che è stato disputato sul circuito di Frauenfeld.Nella classe MXGP Jago Geerts ha segnato il ventitreesimo tempo nelle prove cronometrate. Il pilota belga in qualifica non è riuscito a migliorare il feeling col tracciato terminando ventiquattresimo. In gara uno, disputata sotto una pioggia insistente, Jago ha rimontato diverse posizioni chiudendo al sedicesimo posto. Nella seconda manche ha pagato un’indecisione che l’ha fatto scivolare fuori dalla zona punti. Nel corso della gara però ha recuperato terminando diciottesimo. Piazzamento confermato anche nell’assoluta di giornata.Dopo l’infortunio che non gli ha permesso di partecipare ai primi due GP della stagione, Rick Elzinga ha fatto il suo debutto nella classe MXGP. Trentaduesimo in prova, il pilota olandese si è ritirato dopo qualche giro in qualifica. Costretto a schierarsi per ultimo al cancello nelle manche titolate, Rick ha pagato la preparazione fisica non ancora ottimale chiudendo ventiduesimo e trentunesimo le gare.Nel secondo round dell’Europeo EMX250 Alexis Fueri ha chiuso le prove cronometrate segnando il sesto tempo nel suo gruppo. Il francese ha messo a segno una strepitosa prima manche. Quinto in partenza, Alexis ha iniziato a spingere al massimo riuscendo a tagliare il traguardo in terza posizione. In gara due, con la pista in pessime condizioni, è stato rallentato da un paio di cadute finendo quindicesimo. Settimo nell’assoluta di giornata, Fueri occupa l’ottavo posto nella classifica di campionato.Impegnato nell’ Europeo EMX250 anche per Brando Rispoli. Il pilota toscano ha segnato il decimo tempo nel suo gruppo di cronometrate ma ha subìto due violente cadute. I colpi rimediati non gli hanno permesso di portare a termine la prima manche. Nella seconda manche, disputata domenica mattina sotto la pioggia, Brando ha centrato l’holeshot e ha guidato la corsa fino a metà gara. Nel finale ha subìto la rimonta di alcuni avversari ma ha tagliato il traguardo con un’ottima quinta posizione. Dodicesimo assoluto, Rispoli è ventesimo in campionato.

In race two, with the track in terrible condition, he was slowed down by a couple of crashes and finished fifteenth. Seventh overall for the day, Fueri holds eighth position in the championship standings. Brando Rispoli was also competing in the EMX250 European Championship. The Tuscan rider posted the tenth-fastest time in his qualifying group but suffered two hard crashes. The injuries sustained prevented him from finishing the first race. In the second race, held Sunday morning in the rain, Brando took the holeshot and led the race until the halfway point. In the final stretch, he was overtaken by a few rivals but crossed the finish line in an excellent fifth position. Twelfth overall, Rispoli is twentieth in the championship. The Almonte circuit, in southwestern Spain, hosted the second round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship, the Andalusia Grand Prix, a race that marked the return to European soil. The riders faced a track with a medium-soft surface, made particularly difficult on Saturday due to rain from the previous days. Weather conditions were good on Sunday.
Fifteenth in timed practice, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) finished qualifying in twentieth position. In the first race, after an unlucky start, he managed to fight his way back to fourteenth position at the finish line. Il circuito di Almonte, nel sud-ovest della Spagna, ha ospitato il secondo round del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026, il Gran Premio di Andalusia, gara che ha segnato il ritorno sul suolo europeo. I piloti hanno trovato un tracciato dal fondo medio-morbido, reso difficile soprattutto al sabato per la pioggia dei giorni precedenti. Buone le condizioni meteo della domenica. Quindicesimo nelle cronometrate, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) ha chiuso la qualifica in ventesima posizione. Nella prima manche dopo una partenza sfortunata è riuscito a rimontare fino alla quattordicesima posizione al traguardo. Il pilota belga ha fatto molto bene in gara due in cui ha terminato al tredicesimo posto. Quindici i punti guadagnati da Geerts a fine giornata che gli hanno permesso di occupare la quattordicesima posizione nell’assoluta di giornata. In Spagna si è corso anche il primo round del Campionato Europeo EMX250. Alexis Fueri (Beta RX250 2T) ha segnato il diciassettesimo tempo nel suo gruppo di prove cronometrate. Il pilota francese ha centrato un’ottima prestazione nella prima manche: costretto in rimonta da una partenza poco fortunata, Alexis è riuscito a recuperare fino alla sesta posizione finale. In gara due, dopo i primi giri in cui è riuscito a rimontare fino al dodicesimo posto, Fueri è incappato in una br**ta caduta e ha terminato trentesimo ottenendo la tredicesima posizione nell’assoluta di giornata. Sempre nell’Europeo EMX250 weekend molto sfortunato per Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2T). Diciottesimo nelle cronometrate, il toscano ha faticato a trovare il feeling con il circuito iberico collezionando un ritiro e un trentaquattresimo posto nelle due gare. Il prossimo fine settimana MRT Racing Team Beta Factory sarà impegnato a Frauenfeld nel Gran Premio di Svizzera, terzo round iridato della stagione che ospiterà anche il secondo appuntamento dell’Europeo EMX250.

Si apre con una tappa difficile la stagione 2026 del Mondiale MXGP per il Beta MRT Racing Team. Il primo round stagionale ha preso vita sull’inedito circuito “Bariloche MX Race Track”, incastonato tra gli scenari mozzafiato della Patagonia argentina, che ha ospitato il Gran Premio di Argentina davanti a un pubblico numeroso e appassionato. Con Rick Elzinga ancora costretto a dare forfait a causa dell’infortunio di gennaio, Jago Geerts, a bordo della sua Beta RX450, è stato l’unico rappresentante del team nella trasferta sudamericana. Il weekend del pilota belga non è partito nel migliore dei modi: nelle prove cronometrate del sabato Geerts ha faticato a trovare il giusto feeling con la pista argentina, chiudendo la sessione di qualifica in ventesima posizione. Una prestazione al di sotto delle aspettative su un tracciato completamente nuovo per tutti i protagonisti del mondiale.
La domenica ha riservato segnali incoraggianti nella prima parte della manche uno: partito a ridosso della ventesima posizione, Geerts aveva imbastito una buona rimonta, guadagnando terreno su diversi avversari. Tutto, però, si è interrotto bruscamente all’ottavo giro, quando il pilota belga, in atterraggio da un salto, ha colpito con la ruota anteriore una roccia nascosta nel terreno, finendo a terra in una caduta violenta. L’impatto lo ha costretto al ritiro dalla prima manche e, a causa delle conseguenze fisiche, anche all’impossibilità di prendere il via alla seconda gara della giornata. A fine giornata, Geerts ha commentato così il suo weekend: “È stato per me un weekend disastroso in Argentina. Sabato ho faticato molto su questa pista. Oggi mi sentivo un po’ meglio in sella, ma nella prima manche all’atterraggio da un salto ho colpito una roccia con la ruota anteriore, facendo una br**ta caduta. Sto accusando abbastanza la caduta, ma per fortuna non ho riportato gravi conseguenze.” Nonostante la violenza dell’impatto, le condizioni del pilota non destano allarme. Jago Geerts avrà ora due settimane di tempo per recuperare al meglio prima del prossimo impegno. Il Beta MRT Racing Team tornerà in pista ad Almonte, in Spagna, per il Gran Premio di Spagna.
