Mixed conditions all day 🌧️➡️☀️with the track constantly switching between wet and dry. Not much to read into this one.

Back in action at Mülsen for Round 3 of the FIA European Championship OK & OKJ 🇩🇪

With valuable experience gained during last week's Champions of the Future event on the same circuit, the team is set to take on another crucial round of the season 🔥

Davide Bottaro will be on track in OK, while Julian Rivera and Mark Loomets will represent the team in OKJ 🔥

The action starts today with free practice before qualifying and heats get underway tomorrow.

Brodi Cooper Dowling 🇿🇦 joins Lenovo Kalì Kart.

Born in January 2014 in Benoni, Gauteng (South Africa), Brodi began his karting journey in Bambino back in 2021 at just 7 years old. Since then, he has built an impressive racing résumé in South African karting, claiming championship titles in every rookie season and establishing himself as one of the most promising young talents of his generation.

Now, Brodi takes the next big step in his career by joining Lenovo Kalì Kart and entering the international stage in the OKNJ category.

With the direct connection to the CRG factory project and the opportunity to compete in WSK and FIA Karting events, this marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the young South African driver.

Brodi on joining Lenovo Kalì Kart Team:

“I am incredibly excited and honoured to officially accept the opportunity to join Lenovo Kalì Kart. The mechanic of a go-kart driver has always been a key figure for any driver. They handle all setup adjustments, repairs after race contacts, tire management… and often they’re also a psychologist for their driver.

If you’ve ever been a mechanic, you’ll probably recognize yourself in many of these situations:

➡️ Obsessively checking every single bolt before a session or race

➡️ Never changing your viewing spot out of superstition

➡️ You instinctively trigger the stopwatch for your driver a few milliseconds early

➡️ If your driver crashes, it’s almost always someone else’s fault

➡️ You and your driver have your pre-race ritual: a high five, a fist bump, a word of encouragement…

Positive weekend for the LENOVO Kali Kart Team at the Champions of the Future in Mulsen 📈

The goal was to prep for next week’s race, and both in OKJ and OK, speed and race pace were on point.

Davide in OK crossed the checkered flag in P7 in the Final securing a top ten finish out of 89 drivers. Big performance also from Julian in OKJ, who after P2 in qualifying out of 93 drivers, shone in the Heats before a racing incident stopped him in the Final.

Now it’s time to recharge 🪫 for three days, before hitting the track again on Thursday for the FIA European Championship.

Qualifying Heats complete ✔️

A long day of racing comes to an end with the LENOVO Kali Kart drivers once again firmly in the fight at the front of the field 🏁

In OKJ, Julian delivered a strong and consistent performance throughout the heats, finishing every race among the frontrunners. He will line up P7 for Super Heat 1 tomorrow.

Another positive day for Davide in OK, who secured P6 on the grid for Super Heat 2 after a solid showing across the qualifying phase.

A frustrating outcome for Mark, whose weekend was heavily impacted by a disqualification following a racing incident for which we believe he carried no responsibility. Racing can be unforgiving, but we’re confident he’ll come back stronger and turn the page next week.

Strong pace from LENOVO Kali Kart in Mulsen today. 💪

After an impressive qualifying performance, Julian and Davide carried the momentum into the opening heats. Julian secured two P3 finishes, while Davide delivered solid results with P10 and P4.

Mark also showed promising speed, making up 9 positions in Heat 1 and another 5 in Heat 2.

Three more heats await tomorrow, with everything still to play for as the drivers fight for the best possible starting positions on the Pre-Finals grid.
