This applies to all mechanical products we rely on for both enjoyment and safety. Just as we regularly service a car, ski touring bindings also deserve proper care — cleaning and lubrication should never be treated as optional.

And remember: at the start of every season, nothing should be taken for granted. Before heading back to the snow, always check your release values and verify the heel to boot distance in ski mode.

There are intense weeks, and then there’s Bartek’s week 😤

On May 12th, he skied Lhotse. Alone. Without supplemental oxygen. Before the route had even been fully fixed, and ahead of the main commercial expeditions. From the summit, he stepped into his bindings and skied down the world’s fourth highest peak.

Seven days later, on May 19th, he pushed things even further and repeated the feat from the summit of Everest: from top to base without removing his skis, despite conditions that were not very suitable for skiing.

Both descents on his trusted Kuluar SL — the new, beloved standard for agile ski mountaineering 🌹

Time machine – Back to the family’s roots

Back when we were the new kids on the free touring block, we wanted to create something different, fresh, and true to our innovative spirit.

That’s how the Raider 12 was born, with its cheeky front ski brake and iconic bright red color 🍎 We still spot many of these under the feet of happy backcountry skiers, but it’s wild to see how far the Raider family has come since then!
