IRONMAN 70.3 Austria 🇦🇹
Safe to say the training didn’t exactly go to plan towards the end 😂 and the finish time was a fair bit slower than we’d hoped for, but we got it done.
I was also assured by Ayden beforehand that the bike course was “pretty much flat with one small hill.” That small hill turned out to be a 13km climb up a mountain hitting 14% gradient. Cheers mate 🤣🤣
Me and Ayden said from the start that whatever happened out there, we’d cross that finish line together. And that’s exactly what we did 🤝 Couldn’t have asked for a better mate to go through it with.
A beautiful and equally painful experience 😂 and one I’ll definitely remember. The support from everyone out there and everyone following along from home was unreal and made the whole thing that much better ❤️
And what a place to do it. Zell am See and Austria in general were absolutely incredible 🇦🇹🏔️
As for the full Ironman next year… we’ll see 👀
