Recently, I had the opportunity to conduct a POSH Awareness Session for the team at Gruve.AI.

The session focused on going beyond simply knowing the law and building a deeper understanding of what it takes to create a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.

We explored:
🔹 What constitutes sexual harassment at the workplace

🔹 Understanding the POSH Act and its applicability

🔹 Different forms of workplace harassment

🔹 Real-life situations and scenario-based discussions

🔹 The role and responsibilities of employees

🔹 Understanding the Internal Committee (IC) and its role

🔹 How to respond when you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour

🔹 The importance of prevention, awareness and a culture of respect

What I particularly enjoyed was the openness and participation during the session.

The discussions around real workplace situations and everyday grey areas made the learning practical and relevant.

POSH awareness isn't just about compliance.

It is about creating a workplace where people feel safe to speak, confident to report, and responsible for maintaining dignity and respect for one another.

Recently, I had the opportunity to facilitate an engaging learning experience for a group of young, recently graduated professionals at a leading global bank.

The focus was on three skills that are incredibly important as they begin their professional journey:

🔹 DISC & Self-Awareness – Understanding our own behavioural styles and recognising that people communicate, respond and work differently.

🔹 Communication Skills – Learning to listen actively, communicate with clarity, adapt our style and express ideas with confidence.

🔹 Stakeholder Management – Understanding stakeholders, building relationships, managing expectations and navigating different personalities effectively.

What made the session truly memorable was the energy and participation in the room!

The participants were not just listening—they were discussing, questioning, sharing experiences, participating in activities, working through scenarios and challenging their own perspectives.

It was a wonderful reminder that when young professionals are given the right environment to learn, they bring curiosity, enthusiasm and incredible energy to the room.

I strongly believe that while technical skills help you enter an organisation, skills like communication, self-awareness, collaboration and stakeholder management help you grow within it.

And when learning becomes interactive, practical and fun, it stays with you far beyond the training room. ✨

Most people focus on doing their job well.

Founders look beyond the task.

They think about what happens next — revenue, customers, people, costs, efficiency, and growth.

And that’s a mindset every professional can develop.

You don’t need a founder’s title to start thinking like one.

Instead of asking:
❌ “Is this my responsibility?”

Start asking:
✅ “What needs to happen?”

Instead of:
❌ “Is the task complete?”

Ask:
✅ “Did we get the right result?”

Sounds strange?

Think about it.

When a prospect says “It’s too expensive,” “I need to think about it,” “We’re already working with someone,” or “Now isn’t the right time,” the worst thing you can do is push harder.

Instead, get curious.

Ask better questions. Understand the real concern. Create a conversation that builds trust and helps the buyer make a confident decision.
