There is a ventilation zipper in our combat trousers for one of the areas where heat builds up fastest.
Opening the zipper at the groin exposes a ventilation mesh that allows additional airflow while also maintaining flame-retardant properties.
That combination matters.
The opening helps the wearer release accumulated heat during prolonged activity, while the mesh itself remains part of the garment's protective material concept.
Our gear includes additional ventilation points in the clothing as well, but this one shows particularly well how thermal management and protection can be designed into the same detail.
When the body needs more airflow, opening a vent should not mean giving up the properties the garment was built to provide.
