We are pleased to announce that training will start week commencing 8th September in Tralee.
The days and age groups are noted below.

U11/13 Wednesday :5:30pm – 6:30pm Irish School - Thursday 5pm – 6pm Presentation School

U15 Monday 5:30pm – 6:30pm Presentation School – Wednesday 6:30 pm -7:30pm Irish School

U17/19 Wednesday 7:30 pm - 8:30pm Irish School – Thursday 6pm -7pm Presentation School

We will not be holding a registration day this year, due to time constraints, if you would like a membership form or more details please drop us an email on [email protected].

Follow-up from our Try It Para Badminton Day

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an exciting day of para badminton! With the guidance of National Para Coach Michelle Corr and Assistant Coach Yvonne Burgin, we had a fantastic turnout. Special thanks to national players Dean McCarthy (Tralee Badminton Club) and Lorchan Flannery (Rosscrea Badminton Club) for assisting and sharing their expertise.

Participants had the opportunity to learn the rules and skills of badminton, with fun and inclusive activities for all! It was also a great chance to introduce new regulations to clubs, helping them pave the way for para badminton.

A big shoutout to Tralee Badminton Club for hosting, and to KLSP and Badminton Ireland for their valuable support in making this event a success!

Badminton Ireland are delighted to be launching our annual awards for the 2023/24 season.

The awards will take place on the 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 at the AIG Victor Irish Open, before and immediately after the televised matches.

This year there are ten categories, with two honorary categories being presented also.

- International Player of the year
- Club Player of the year
- Club of the year
- Coach of the year
- Masters Player of the year
- Club initiative of the year
- Women in Sport - Young woman of the year
- Women in Sport - Woman of the year
