Rosslare Development Association RDA

Rosslare Development Association RDA RDA is the representative organization for the entire community, a forum where you can express your ideas and hear what others are doing.

We want you to join in and have a say in making Rosslare a better place for all. Rosslare Development Association RDA is a democratic open forum for the entire community, where you can propose your ideas and hear what others are doing. As the Association moved forward in 2000 with a legal entity now we take another step by launching our Social Media platform, starting with a page. The RDA

is you organization It represents you - and we want you to join in and have a say in making Rosslare an even more enjoyable and special place. Rosslare Development Association has been promoting, representing and developing Rosslare since the 1930โ€™s. Over the years The Association has had many successes most notably the Sport and Recreation Centre which was a huge achievement and a massive bonus for the community. The centre caters for all types of activities and these have been improved, developed and added to over the years making the complex the envy of many communities around the country. In 2000 The Association created a company (RCDA Clg) to manage, supervise and maintain the assets of the community. This also has been a great success creating employment and attracting much needed funds. We know that people cannot always attend our meetings and it is even more difficult with current Covid 19 regulations, so we hope that this platform will be a good way for us to communicate you and more importantly for you to communicate with us. Please share the page, and we hope to hear from you soon.

๐Ÿ“ Make Way Day 2026 โ€“ Rosslare Strand
Cllr. Lisa McDonald, Leas Cathaoirleach of the Rosslare Municipal District, was delighted to host a Make Way Day event in Rosslare Strand on Friday, 29 May.
Members of the community took part in a walk from the Beach Car Park to the Rosslare Community Recreation Centre, highlighting both positive features and areas for improvement along the route. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ
Participants shared valuable feedback and suggestions on how to make the area more accessible for everyone.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Make Way Day, led by the Disability Federation of Ireland, raises awareness of everyday obstacles faced by people with disabilitiesโ€”such as blocked footpaths, cars on pavements, sandwich boards, and overhanging branches.
๐Ÿ‘ Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to making Rosslare a more accessible place for all.
