Leicester Celtic FC Leicester Celtic Football Club was founded in 1967 by Michael Flaherty and Father C. F. Lee, then a curate in Rathgar parish.

In return for financial assistance from the Parish, the name of a local street was to be used in the club name.

The Mini World Cup semi-finals are upon us, and it's all to play for this evening!

Kick-off times:
• U5/U6 – 17:30
• U7/U8 – 18:00
• U9 – 18:30
• U10 – 19:00
• U11 – 19:30
• U12 – 20:00
• U13/U14 – 20:30

With 58 games taking place across all age groups, every match must produce a winner.

⚽ Important: If a game is level at the end of normal time, it will go straight to a penalty shootout. There will be no extra time in any match this evening.

Hi All,

Mini World Cup preparations are going well, the majority of T-Shirts were collected late night .

We need a serious amount of Volunteers today to help get set up.

If anyone is available for an hour or two between 3pm and 5pm - See you up at the Club

Day 1 is always the hardest, I appreciate it’s challenging

We can’t make this happen without your support.

The first day of this year's Mini World Cup is finally here!

There was great excitement around the club last night as the t-shirts were collected and plans were made for what to write on the back of them.

The first matches kick off this evening, with the U5/U6 age group getting underway at 5:30pm sharp. Please ensure all players are in the club car park at least 15 minutes before their scheduled kick-off time.

We wish the very best of luck to all the children taking part and hope everyone enjoys a fantastic Mini World Cup experience!
