Our Junior Girls wrapped up their season today with a fun Play in Pink scramble. Against the backdrop of beautiful blue skies, it is fair to say that every possible shade of pink made an appearance on the course!

The girls played a nine hole scramble featuring a number of different surprises. With teams of mixed ages, skill and experience, some great fun was had by all. The evening wouldn’t be complete without some cookies and delicious hot chocolate afterwards in the Eagles Nest 😋

Well done to all the girls who took part today and in particular to our team captains who were a great help in running this fun event. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Our Junior Girls took some time after their weekly golf today to celebrate the tremendous All Ireland win by the Ladies Junior Cup team with some ice-cream at the Eagles Nest. It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to recognise and congratulate their fellow junior golfers who were part of the team and made such a strong contribution to the team’s success - Kara, Nicole, Aoife, Ayla, Robin and Amy. A huge well done to the girls and to everyone involved with the Junior Cup team 🏆

A huge congratulations to everyone involved with our Ladies Junior Cup Team on such an outstanding achievement.

A special congratulations to our Junior Girls, past and present. It’s wonderful to see them competing at this level and producing such a brilliant result.

These girls have worked hard over many years receiving tremendous support from their families, great encouragement from club members and expert coaching from professional staff along the way. Sixty five boys teed it up this morning for our Junior Captain’s Prize. After a blustery, cold start the morning warmed up and we were treated to some fantastic golf. Playing off the green tees we had excellent scores from Oisin, Ethan, Dylan and Charlie but Ben took the first prize here on his first outing with his new handicap.
Playing off the white tees we had seven boys with nett scores in the 60s and Ryan took the gross prize with a level par 70. Ruairi, Iarla, Eoin, Alex, Jack M and Jack F played great golf but they couldn’t catch Alan who took home the first prize. Fergal presented the prizes and thanked all who had helped to make it a memorable day.

We were delighted to have Cillian back today after his exploits in America. Pat and Paul presented him with a card signed by all the boys and girls, in addition to a box of golf balls.

What an amazing day we had for Aoife’s Junior Captain’s Prize to the Girls! Not only did Aoife organise some lovely sunshine and for the rain to stay away, but she also sent the girls out with some lovely goodie bags full of treats for on the course!

Prize giving was held in the Eagles Nest afterwards, where the girls enjoyed a delicious lunch. Congratulations to Kara on winning the Captain’s prize and to Robin and Nicole who won the 2nd and gross prizes respectively! Ailbhe won our 9 hole singles competition, while Ava, Amy, Elise and Sarah won the scramble. Well done to everyone who took part.
