The Northwest Vipers are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Paul McIlwaine.

Paul was a familiar and valued presence around the league for many years, capturing countless special moments for our club through his lens. His passion for the game and dedication to his craft gave us memories that will last a lifetime.

More than that, Paul was a true gentleman . Always kind, always professional, and always welcomed around the team.

He will be greatly missed by everyone at the Northwest Vipers.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and the entire AFI community at this difficult time.

A huge performance from Mike Mallon in yesterday's 26-14 victory over the Causeway Giants.

Mike was a constant force for the Vipers offence, running hard all afternoon and picking up crucial yards whenever his number was called. Whether it was grinding out tough yards between the tackles or keeping drives alive, he played a key role in helping the Vipers secure their seventh consecutive win and finish the regular season 7-1.

A relentless effort and a well-earned Offensive MVP award.

A dominant performance from JP McKee in yesterday's 26-14 victory over the Causeway Giants.

From the opening whistle, JP was everywhere. Flying to the football, making tackles, disrupting plays and setting the physical tone for the Vipers defence. His relentless effort and leadership were a huge factor in helping shut down the Giants and secure our seventh straight win.

A true defensive leader's performance and a well-deserved Defensive MVP award.

👏 A special mention must also go to Sean Devlin, who came away with two interceptions on the day. Huge plays from the secondary that helped swing momentum firmly in the Vipers' favour.

SPECIAL TEAMS MVP – ISHY AHMAD #11

Philadelphia native Ishy Ahmad made an instant impact in yesterday's 26-14 victory over the Causeway Giants.

On the very first play of the game, Ishy took the opening kickoff all the way to the house for a touchdown, giving the Vipers the perfect start and setting the tone for a huge afternoon in Derry.

His speed, vision and playmaking ability continue to be a major weapon for the Vipers, and this week's Special Teams MVP award is thoroughly deserved.

Gameday Through the Lens 📸

A look back at yesterday's 26-14 victory over the Causeway Giants as the Northwest Vipers closed out the regular season in style.

The win marks our seventh consecutive victory and sees us finish the regular season with an impressive 7-1 record heading into the playoffs.

A huge thank you to the Causeway Giants for a hard-fought game and a great contest on Father's Day.

We round off the regular season with a home victory at Prehen Playing Fields. We finish the season 7-1 and look forward to bringing playoff football to the Northwest on July 4th.
