Jubulant scenes on the sideline last night as our U16 Boys Academy won their first game of the season against Athy!!

The game ended with high levels of exhilaration as the lads scored 2 tries in the last 2 minutes 🙌

Great start to the season and a promising sign of what's to come from this team 🟡⚫️

The Seniors officially get the 2026/27 season underway this Saturday as we welcome local rivals Cill Dara RFC to Rosetown for the first round of the Hosie Cup, a repeat of last year’s Final.

Another fantastic addition to Newbridge Rugby Club!

We’re delighted to have recently had new Astro areas installed at both dugouts on the main pitch, further improving the facilities for our players, coaches and matchday teams.

A massive thank you to Mark EZLawn.ie for the brilliant and professional work. The finished areas look fantastic and are a real addition to the club. We’d have no hesitation in recommending Mark and EZ Lawns to any club considering a similar project.

This is another development made possible thanks to our Oskars fundraiser this year — and there’s plenty more to come!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser and continues to support Newbridge Rugby Club. Your contribution is helping us invest back into the club and its facilities.

Newbridge RFC are proud to announce our Women's Captain and Vice Captain for the upcoming season.

Fiona Malone will be leading our Women's team as captain alongside vice captain Jenna Hegarty. Both are key leaders on and off the field and embody the spirit of the team.

Congratulations to both and best of luck with the season ahead.

📢 GOLF CLASSIC UPDATE ⛳

We have decided to postpone our Golf Classic until our usual May date.

With a busy schedule of club events recently, we feel returning to our traditional May slot makes the most sense.

A huge thank you to everyone who booked a team or offered sponsorship. All payments already made will be fully refunded.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in May and will confirm the new date soon.

Well done to our Newbridge RFC players involved with the North Midlands in the opening round of the Shane Horgan Cup against South East in Carlow this evening.

A great start to the campaign with North Midlands coming away with a 31–24 victory.

Matthew, Oscar, Andy & Elliot all featured and performed well, while Shane & Oisín were also part of the travelling squad
