🎉🥒 TWO YEARs OLD AND SMASHING IT! 🥒🎉
Can you BELIEVE it?! Only Two years ago TODAY, Newbridge Pickleball took its very first swing — launching a series of FREE Taster Sessions on Monday and Wednesday mornings at Ryston Sports and Social Club! Nobody knew quite what to expect... and look at us NOW! 🙌
What started as a curious little craze has exploded into something truly special. Those original morning sessions are still buzzing and better than ever — and between the two clubs now operating in Newbridge there are 8 weekly sessions in Newbridge alone, with a whopping 25 sessions across 6 clubs throughout County Kildare! 🚀 Pickleball is well and truly ON THE MAP! 🗺️
None of this happend without some incredible people, and we want to shout them out LOUD today! 📣
💛 Ann O'Donnell & Paddy Martin of Ryston Sports and Social Club ( Paddy has been a stalwarth supporter and a great player from day one)— thank you for opening your doors and making this dream possible! 💛 Nuala & Vincent Maloney — the absolute legends who took those brave first steps and started something magical! 💛 And of course, every single Newbridge player — past and present — who showed up, gave it a go, and caught the pickleball bug! Many of whom have already gone on to claim podium finishes at local and national tournaments — we are SO proud! 🏆🥇
From one small group to a county-wide community... what a ride it's been! Here's to the next year of d***s, drives, and dropping everything for pickleball! 😄🏓
