Kentstown Rovers 3 - 2 Harp Celtic FC

Saturday ended our undefeated streak in the league and a disappointing evening for the lads but that's football and as we all know we learn more from the defeats then the wins,
We took the lead at 35 mins with a well taken pass from Obi Pilane in the middle of the field up to Shay Rawat who slid it through to John Moran and into the back of the net but Kentstown Rovers pulled it back to 1- 1 within minutes, we had a few more chances but it was Kentstown that went in 2 1 at half time,
Second half was better from the lads but we picked up a few injuries with Calum Fagan needing to come off and Daniele Gismondi playing true the pain from a clash with the Kentstown goal keeper, 10 minutes later we seen a penalty decision going against us, we found ourselves down by 3, we pulled back one from a corner taken by Matthew Ryan into the on weighting Jonathan Forde who headed the ball into the back of the net 3 2 but despite having all the play after that the lads just couldn't fine the 3rd goal, great second half proformance, thanks to all that came to support the team from the sideline 👏 great to see,
Solid proformance as always from Jonathan Forde - Danielle Gismondi - Caighlum Barry-Mulvey and Matthew Ryan,
No game for the lads next week but will keep you updated for next match ⚽️⚽️,

Bailieboro 3 - 3 Harp Celtic

On our 1st Friday Evening game and one of the most challenging of the season we came away with the draw.
Starting very strong with some great pressing from our front three - Caighlum Barry Mulvey/Daniele Gismondi and Shay Rawat we got our first within two minutes, Jonathan Forde giving a great ball up to Caighlum who passed it onto Shay to strike the ball into the net, going in at half-time 1 - 1 but should have been a lot more,
Second half we found tougher as Bailieboro came into the game more and it was a good contest from then on, it only took 10 minutes into the second half for Shay to get his second with a well taken goal, Calum Fagan having a great peformance encouraging from the back line all match, our 3rd came from Andy Moran passing the ball from the backs, Daniele Gismondi getting a great individual goal after that, taking the pass down, twisting the defenders and slotting the ball into the left corner under the keeper, disappointing end to the game where we should have came away with the win but we'll take this and move onto Kentstown Rovers next week, as always greatfull for the support on the sideline,

Harp Celtic FC 3 - 3 Bohermeen celtic

A home game in the MDL and didn't start the way we planned 0 -3 down in 28 mins is not what Harp celtic is about. 30 min mark hit and we started to play ball and we didn't stop till we had it back level. 2 great goals by Shay Rawat Costello in 9 mins with assist from Caighlum Barry Mulvey and then he went and got his own goal before half-time. 2nd half Harp celtic just couldn't get that 4th goal to seal the win. Final score 3-3. Away next Friday night to Bailieboro for the lads and build on keeping unbeaten run in all Competitive going.

Good for Harp celtic was Shay Rawat Costello and Caighlum Barry Mulvey.

Robinstown 1 - 3 Harp Celtic

On what was a fantastic day for a game of football away to Robinstown, the lads came away with a 3 - 1 win,

First half was very intense with both team's having their fair share of the ball, on the 19th minute Harp Celtic got their first with the oncoming Daniele Gismondi running in on goal making it 1 - 0, Robinstown got it back to 1 - 1 just before a Harp Celtic free kick taken by Jonathan Forde passed to Sarunas Zavadskis and on to the head of Shane Conroy made it 2 - 1 to the Harp"s, just before half time the lads got a hand ball decision and Shane Conroy stepped up to make it 3 - 1 going in at the whistle,

Harp Celtic just managed out the 2nd half with a few shot's on target and making a few changes, the lads were happy to take the 3 points with there next game at home to Bohermeen in the MDL,

Ballivor FC 1 - 1 Harp Celtic FC

The lads came away with a hard fought point in an excellent team performance that could have seen a lot more goals,

On the 9th minutes Rhys Callan hitting a well taken corner seen Jonathan Forde putting the ball into the back of the net, 10 minutes later Daniele Gismondi hit the crossbar, Andy Devine making a great save keeping the one up, with some great play coming from midfield the lads were very unlucky not to have a few more going in at half time,

Second half was much the same with Sarunas Zavadskis coming on at half time and making a huge difference in the game, the lads were pressing for more in the 2nd half, Andrew Moran hit the crossbar from a corner and we were disappointed not to have more goals from this great pressing play, game ended 1 - 1,
