Programme for Tomorrow – Kildare Track & Field B Championships, Naas AC

Please note the following updates to tomorrow's programme:

🔹 **U16 Girls & Boys Long Jump** will **warm up from 2:00pm** and begin shortly afterwards due to the smaller number of entries.

🔹 **U12 Girls Long Jump** will take place at **2:30pm sharp**.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Track events and Turbo Javelin will start at 2:30pm.

Parents and coaches may be asked to assist with officiating to help keep the programme running smoothly.

Best of luck to all our athletes representing the club tomorrow – enjoy the day and give it your best!

More results and Isobel Kearns & Abby Lewis rounded off their Leinster juveniles with 1st & 3rd place on the podium for the U19 girls javelin

Holly Kearns delivered another consistent performance in the U18 girls race walk for 2nd place - Holly will be representing Leinster schools next weekend at the Tailteann Games

Delighted to say more race walkers have joined the ranks and JJ Hill placed 2nd in the U15 boys competition & Eric Ross 3rd in the U13s.

Saoirse Ballesty Byrne lit up the track to take the U18 100m title following it up today with silver in the 200m

More javelin and Isabelle Larkin placed 2nd in the U13 javelin with team mate Lola McDonnell taking 4th

Harry Kearney threw the shot put out to 12.12m for a super silver in the U15 boys comp.

Eabha Larkin with another great performance for 2nd in the U14 javelin and Ava Kelly taking the top step for 1st in the U12 turbo.

Ruby Cowdell, also saying goodbye to Leinster juveniles, had a magnificent 800m race for 2nd place in the U19 girls

Well done to all our athletes today at the final day of the Leinster Championship. They all did a great job.

Today we learned a lot. We learned that the hard work does pay off in the long run but we also learned that, despite the effort, we can have a bad day, and that’s ok.
We have learned to be patient and that with patience comes resilience.
We have also learned that we win and we learn and that an experience is what we get when we don’t get what we want!
The main thing is that we learned to be the best we can be each day and that this is always enough!

Honestly, all kids were super today and we couldn’t be prouder of them. Zoe, Zara and Hannah at the long jump. Cathal at the triple jump. Mia and Èabha at the javelin and shot put. Max and Layla at the hurdles. Oscar at the high jump and the 800m. All amazing 🤩

Special mention to Max who’s our 75m hurdles champion. To Cathal for bringing a silver medal home in the Triple Jump. To Eabha for taking silver in the Javelin and to Layla for taking silver in the 60m hurdles. 👏👏

Great results for Naas AC U14 today and incredible performance by all. Well done U14 team 👏👏👏

Another fantastic day in Tullamore for Harry who went back today and followed up his silver from yesterday with another fine silver in the discus. Well done Harry ⭐ Roll on Nationals....it'll be a busy day!

Another successful day for the magnificent u13s!

Well done to Layla and Cillian who took on the 60m Hurdles today in Tullamore for the final day of the Leinster Championships.

Unbelievable effort and training done over the last few weeks for the two of them, many thanks to coach Sara for all the effort and time she has given all the kids this season.

Layla absolutely stunned in the final with a lightning fast time to take home a very well deserved Leinster silver and Cillian is your new Leinster Champion for 2026!! Unbelievable work.

We are very proud of the two of you guys. ⭐⭐
