Huge well done to our boys relay team today in Carlow. Oscar, Michael, Ben & Daniel ran their socks off in a very tough race today. Each one played a blinder against very strong opponents and they never gave up, showing great determination and performance.
Well done lads, the coaches and your club are very proud of you 👏👏

Well done to the girls and boys relay teams today at Leinster Relays. They were incredible. It was so competitive and fast but the kids did themselves and the club proud.

Both our boys and girls team made it to their finals 🥳 Us as coaches are so proud of this.

Baton changes were 10/10 and in those conditions today that is incredible.

Well done to the girls team who finished 3rd, little superstars. ⭐

Thanks to the parents for all your support and travelling down with the kids.

𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On Saturday and Sunday, 6th and 7th June, Athletics Leinster will host the Leinster Juvenile Relays & Combined Events Championships at SETU South Sports Campus, Mortarstown Upper, Co. Carlow.

We look forward to another exciting weekend of athletics, but it will not be possible to stage this event without the support of our officials and volunteers.
A sincere thank you to those who have already committed to assisting over the weekend.
However, we currently do not have sufficient numbers to adequately staff both days of competition.

❗️We are asking all clubs to please submit the names of officials as soon as possible to assist with planning and ensure the smooth running of the championships.
❗️For the relays (Saturday), please submit the name of at least 1 official for every 5 teams/10 athletes competing.
For the combined events (Sunday), please submit the name of one official for every 5 athletes competing.

Reports will follow for The Leinster Children's Games and U12-13 Juvenile Championships - we had lots of smiling faces and fun was had by all! The track will be very colorful with all the new merch that was got on the day!

What a weekend!

At the All Ireland Schools Championships in Tullamore we have 3 amazing bronze medallists

Isobel Kearns & Aoibhinn O'Sullivan in their final schools competition went out in style with Isobel 3rd in the Senior Girls Javelin and Aoibhinn bronze in the Senior Girls Pole Vault - wishing both girls the very best as they start their Leaving Certificate on Wednesday!

Harry Kearney also took home bronze in the Junior Boys discus and a nice new PB of 38.74m

It’s a hugely busy weekend for our juveniles. First up is The All Ireland schools and the very best of luck to all our qualified athletes!

The Leinster Children’s Games, U12s & 13s are centre stage on Sunday. We hope all our youngest juveniles have a great day 😀
