ESB Science Blast returned to UL Sport Arena last week, filling the arena with curious minds as primary school pupils brought science to life through inspiring projects.

University of Limerick celebrated the international success of a number of its Sports Scholar swimmers at a homecoming reception following an incredible 2025 season.

This popular 8 week programme is for 13–16 year olds who want to get stronger and feel more confident in the gym.

Our coaches focus on good lifting technique, support each teen at their own level, and help them build strength, confidence, and habits that last.

If your teen is new to training or unsure where to start, this is a structured, supportive way to begin.

This summer, give them a camp to remember!

Our Great Explorers summer camps are all about keeping kids active, experiencing new things and having fun.

Not just something to fill the days. Something they’ll come home talking about.

One day they’re halfway up a climbing wall, figuring it out as they go. Another day they’re out on the water, paddle in hand, laughing with kids they only met that morning.

There’s something for every explorer.

Plassey Explorers - Based at the UL Climbing Wall in the UL Sport Arena, with climbing, teamwork and indoor and outdoor adventure.

Killaloe Explorers - At the UL Sport Adventure Centre, Killaloe, with kayaking, water activities and lakeside fun (with land activities included).

It’s busy, full of energy and great fun. They will come away more confident, with new skills and new friends.

Two locations. Choose one, or make the most of summer and do both! Suitable for ages 6–17
