Duffys IPS Western Area Balmoral Qualifiers- March 2026

Meet the stars of the day - GB and ML. 🐎

These two 5yo mares braved the late “mad “windy and drizzly evening to gain valuable experience in the Balmoral 4/5yo Flat Ridden Qualifier. Despite those chilly conditions , they took it all in their stride.

Early in the morning , but no signs of sleepiness on either or horse or Jockeys side—straight in and jumped a clear, eager, seriously scopey round ✨ Scoring 90/100 out of 36 listed ponies and couldn’t be happier with that effort from Lu 🐴💫.
So so close when the top mark was 94 at this qualifier to gain a ribbon. 🙇‍♀️

Sweet in colour and personality … almost good enough to eat .. 🍬 Well not literally !

To me , he’s definitely similar in ways to my last star boy , Cory in mannerisms and cleverness but not the colour 😉.
