U13 Girls Match Report

A fantastic performance this afternoon from our u13 girls who only had 10 players away to St Leonards due to players on holidays etc..

It was second vs third in the league and our girls just needing a point to finish runners up.
All 10 players give 100pc for the whole game winning 3-1 and picking up all 3 points.

It's been a great season for these girls and today possibly putting in the performance of the season.

Our goals came from,

⚽️Finna Harney.
To finish 2nd in the league 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Best of luck to our U10s are out this evening in the 1/4 final of Mini world cup against Curracloe at 8pm.

The boys topped their group and will be hoping to continue their good form tonight. 💪🏼💪🏼

Congratulations and hard luck to our extremely talented little player Eli Moran representing stars of soccer academy who got knocked out at the quarter final stage of the Grinta cup in France.

They were beaten by Paris FC a professional academy at the quarter final stage of the top level of the competition on penalties. They qualified for the gold section on Saturday through their group and beat Leicester City in the last 16 on Sunday morning a wonderful achievement from all the Irish boys and an experience they will never forget I’m sure.

We are so proud Eli was part of it and along with fellow Wexford players Kevin O’Donovan and Mason O’Reilly the whole county are very proud of you lads and this is only the start of your footballing future

⚽️ Main Pitch Closed for the Season ⚽️

The main pitch is now closed for the season. Goals have been removed and lime, fertiliser and grass seed have been spread as part of our end-of-season repairs and maintenance.

Please stay off the main pitch and use the Middle Pitch or Busby's instead to ensure our main pitch is in the best condition for the new season.

A huge thank you to Ray Martin for sponsoring and spreading the lime and fertiliser. Ray drove his own tractor down from Davidstown and wouldn't accept anything.

A fantastic gesture from a true club man.

Our U11’s team are also in great form in the Mini World Cup .
The lads beating North End and Curracloe making it two wins from two so far .
Special mention and good luck to our captain -Eli Moran who is currently in France taking part in a tournament.

Hopefully our boys can keep it going and he can make it back for after the group stages ⚽️⚽️⚽️
