A fantastic private guided hike today through Belmont Demesne, up the Little Sugar Loaf, and along Bray Head.
We enjoyed a mix of sunshine and showers, stunning views, great conversations along the way, and wonderful company throughout the day.
Thanks to everyone for making it such an enjoyable hike. Looking forward to the next adventure in the Wicklow Mountains! 🥾⛰️

Belmont Woods Beginner Hike ☘️🥾
A fantastic morning on our beginner-friendly Belmont Woods hike today.
There was plenty of chat along the trail, beautiful woodland scenery, and stunning views across the countryside, the Little Sugarloaf, and out towards the coast.
The timing couldn't have been better, as we finished the hike just before the heavy rain arrived.
Another highlight of Belmont Demesne is the excellent facilities on-site. After the hike, participants can relax and enjoy refreshments at Kitchen 28, while O Brother Brewing offers a great selection of locally brewed craft beers, making Belmont a wonderful destination for both walking and socialising.
Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it such an enjoyable morning on the trails.

Day 4 in a row of private guided hikes and walks in the stunning landscapes of wicklow.

Fantastic day guiding a university group from Connecticut, USA on a history and geology tour of Glendalough. Great to explore the incredible landscape, monastic history and unique geology of the valley with such an enthusiastic group.
A big thank you to Anthea for her expertise in geology ,help and guidance throughout the day. We were also lucky with the weather, with Glendalough looking spectacular in the sunshine.

Day 2 with the TY students hiking in the stunning surroundings of Lough Dan. Another fantastic day on the trails with a brilliant group of students.
A total of 27km covered over the last day and a half through some of the best scenery in the Wicklow Mountains.
Big shout out to the great guides Darren and Maria for all the help and teamwork out on the hills. 🥾⛰️

Out guiding TY students today around Lough Dan and along the Wicklow Way — a solid 17km done.
We were lucky with the weather, clear views and perfect conditions for the hills, which made it a great day out for both students and teachers. Always good to see a group pushing themselves and enjoying the experience along the way.
