A little back story....2 years ago today I asked to take a chance and open a PF location in Dungarvan. He wasn't long after opening Kilkenny, and he had Bagenalstown on the go, too!

Thankfully, he took the plunge and invested in Dungarvan and took a chance on me, too.

I had no prior experience running a gym, and after years of working in a different career path, he was definitely taking a massive risk 🀣🀣

The one thing he said to me was 'don't f**k it up'🀣🀣

Nearly 2 years on and thanks to great staff and members, I think we're doing OK 🫢🏻

It's nice to look back at where we started and see how far we have come but also see how far we could potentially go πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Hopefully ye all stick with us for the journey 🫢🏻

All we ask you to do it show up for yourself, investing in you is something that you will never regret πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Exercise is a non-negotiable. You HAVE to do it. Want to life an independent life without taking 20 tablets a day??
Regular exercise/weight lifting will give you a fairly good shot at making that happen πŸ™ŒπŸ»

As Eoghan says, random workouts are perfect if you want to mix things up or even on an off day where you just want to move your body!

Any movement is good for you!!

But...if you're not seeing results and can't figure out why, maybe it's down to your programming and tracking of your workouts!!

It's a good thing we do all of that for you 😎

*Darkness into Light*

We had a busy morning this morning at PFS but one thing that stood out was the sense of community.

I was in for 4am, the form was good, everyone was up for a chat and a laugh and of course a good spin!! After class I was going to go for a walk to pass the time until 7:30am Compete. Some of the ladies decided to join me, that led to a stroll, coffee and a good old laugh!
Then the compete class rocked in, again here for the social aspect as much as the workout! 🀣And that was followed by the 8:30am Spin crew, and it was the same again, chatting to each other and asking about weekend plans!

That’s the power of exercise, you can come from any background, job, age, etc and you have something in common. You’re there to move, that leads to chats, laughs and friendships being formed.
When it comes to your mental health that is so important.

It’s little things like this morning that could make a difference in someone’s life, a simple hello, a β€˜well done’ during the class, pairing up for a partner workout and being able to laugh at yourself forgetting what exercise is next!
You never know what someone is going through but when you come through the door at PFS we hope that it’s 45 minutes of your day that you feel good about yourself and know that you are appreciated and important 🫢🏻
