🚴‍♂️ A busy weekend for Tralee Manor West BC!

Michael and Pat took on the stunning Tour de Beara, while Shane and Niall represented the club at the Veterans National Road Race Championships — Shane in the M40 category and Niall in the M50.

Sunday brought a great club spin, with riders out enjoying the roads and the company.

Well done to everyone who got out on the bikes this weekend! 💙💛

🇮🇪 Best of luck to Niall and Shane tomorrow from everyone at Tralee Manor West BC as they line up in the Cycling Ireland Masters Road Race National Championships!

Niall will compete in the M50 race, while Shane takes on the M40 category.

The championships are being hosted by Dungarvan Cycling Club , with racing starting from Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. The various categories will tackle challenging championship courses ranging from 60 km to 120 km.

We’ll all be behind you, lads. Ride hard, enjoy it and give it everything! 💙💛

A great Tralee Manor West BC moment at the Vuelta! 🚴‍♂️🇪🇸

Michael, Matt and Brendan were lucky enough to meet Banteer’s own Eddie Dunbar of Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team at the race. A brilliant experience for the lads and a fantastic memory from their time at the Vuelta. 💙💛

🚴‍♂️ That’s a wrap on our outdoor Tuesday night training for the season!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us over the summer — our own Tralee Manor West BC members and riders from neighbouring clubs. Across 23 sessions, there were plenty of hard efforts, good company and friendly competition along the way! 💙💛

Thanks for coming along and making Tuesday evenings something to look forward to. Our Tuesday Zwift sessions will be starting soon, so keep an eye out for details.

🚴‍♂️ A busy weekend on the bikes for Tralee Manor West BC!

On Saturday, club members were out supporting two fundraising cycles. Vinny, George and Niall took part in the Dual County Challenge from Athea, organised by Newcastle West Cycling Club , while our leisure group and other club members headed to Firies for Pedal for Grace, raising funds for Vision Ireland . Great to see the club colours out supporting both events! 💙💛

A big thank you to the organisers, marshals and volunteers who put so much work into making these events happen.

Sunday brought our club spin around beautiful Caragh Lake, rounding off a weekend of cycling, company and miles in the legs.

Well done to everyone who got out over the weekend! 👏

One of our final Tuesday night outdoor training sessions of the year — and a great one to finish the summer with. 🚴‍♂️⛰️

A proper hilly spin, plenty of hard efforts, a bit of suffering, and plenty of craic along the way.

These Tuesday nights have been a brilliant part of the season, and we’ll definitely miss them when the evenings close in.

One final coffee stop at Eileen's Bakery & Cafe in Castleisland for the Tralee Manor West BC leisure group.

Eileen’s became a regular and much-loved stop on the group’s weekend spins, and we were very sorry to hear that the bakery has now closed after many years of business on Main Street.

A sincere thank-you to Eileen and all the staff for the warm welcome, great food and countless cups of coffee. You will be greatly missed by our cyclists and by the wider Castleisland community.

We wish Eileen and everyone involved the very best for the future. 💙💛

A great ride from Shane Fleming at the Munster Road Race Championships in Whitechurch, Co. Cork, on Sunday.

Competing in the M40 category, Shane finished inside the top ten overall in the combined Masters race — a strong performance over a demanding 85km course.

Well done, Shane, on another excellent ride representing Tralee Manor West BC! 👏🚴

🥉 Munster TT bronze for Niall!

Huge congratulations to Tralee Manor West BC’s Niall McCarron, who produced a fantastic ride to take third place in the M50 category at the Munster Provincial Time Trial Championships on Sunday.

The championship was held over a 28.75km course from Five Alley, outside Nenagh, to Birdhill and back.

A brilliant result against strong competition and another Munster medal for the club. Well done, Niall! 👏🚴‍♂️
