Albion Rovers F.C. Irish football club based in Monasterboice Co.Louth who compete in the Drogheda School Childrens League, Louth Schoolgirls League, NERL and NEFL. Louth.

We are a football club based in Monasterboice, Co. We have teams from Under 8's to Under 16's. Our teams compete in the Drogheda School Childrens Leauge and the North East schoolchildrens League and Our Seniors play in the North East Football League. Our Club Mission Statement is '...to promote soccer and provide the highest quality playing facilities for the South Louth catchment area...'
Our fac

ilities include a 60m x 30m floodlit all-weather pitch, two dressing rooms, three 11-a-side pitches, one 7/9-a-side pitch and the new heart of the club Eddie's Place. Eddie's Place is the club's coffee shop which is dedicated to the late Eddie Maher who was an underage manager with the club. Eddie sadly passed away suddenly in March 2009.

There was great fun at our academy training this morning. Cormac has coached our academy players for the last two years and has been a huge asset to everyone he has coached during his time with the club. Sadly his last training session with Albion was this morning and he will be missed by all. We would like to thank Cormac for all his time and effort he has put into our academy players over the last few years. 🖤💚

Our ladies team took part in the Ann Gregory Charity Event today in park view from 11am to 5pm in the blistering heat. Grove, Albion and Duleek ladies all took part in what was a hugely enjoyable day.
Ann was hugely involved with grove rangers and helped so many people in their football journey always with Brendan by her side. Two wonderful football people who gave everything to Grove Rangers and local footballers for so many years. It was a pleasure to be part of your event and keep Ann in everybody’s thoughts through the joy of playing football. Huge thank you to Grove rangers and the Gregory family for inviting us to be part of something special. ❤️ it was a lovely day, great weather and great community spirit.
