Albion Rovers F.C. Irish football club based in Monasterboice Co.Louth who compete in the Drogheda School Childrens League, Louth Schoolgirls League, NERL and NEFL. Louth.

We are a football club based in Monasterboice, Co. We have teams from Under 8's to Under 16's. Our teams compete in the Drogheda School Childrens Leauge and the North East schoolchildrens League and Our Seniors play in the North East Football League. Our Club Mission Statement is '...to promote soccer and provide the highest quality playing facilities for the South Louth catchment area...'
Our fac

ilities include a 60m x 30m floodlit all-weather pitch, two dressing rooms, three 11-a-side pitches, one 7/9-a-side pitch and the new heart of the club Eddie's Place. Eddie's Place is the club's coffee shop which is dedicated to the late Eddie Maher who was an underage manager with the club. Eddie sadly passed away suddenly in March 2009.

The Albion U16 side travelled to Quay Celtic today for a top of the table tussle that had everything from the first minute onwards. Every player in the squad gave their all in a scintillating clash which ended up in a 2-3 win for the visitors.

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Huge congratulations to our ladies div 3 team today on a brilliant win against a very good BJD team. Albion went 1-0 up through a penalty in the first half. Annie scored a cracker of a free kick to make it 2-0 and Sophie’s determination and hard work made it 3-0. With a few minutes remaining BJD got one back and the final score finished 3-1 to Albion.
This is a remarkable achievement from this bunch. It is only their first year playing senior ladies football and they have done themselves, the club and their families proud.
