This Week’s Results are in.

A great week for the Keepers Union, with an unprecedented 6 Clean Sheets in 9 games.

Big results for Helio Inter Cork and DoMa Giants in the Premier Division.

Jay Bazz and Abbey also with statement wins in the First Division.

DCT had a great win in the GOTW and ePower East Cork got the show on the road with a win in the Second Division.

Our first three league results:

Marlboro trust 4-2 JayBazz
Goals on the day came from Eoghan O’Sullivan & Kelvin Forde who are both playing very well since joining the club!

Abbey 1-0 JayBazz
Another unlucky result in a game we felt we played well but couldn’t capitalise on our chances. Onto the next.

Jaybazz 3-1 Dripsey
Goals came from Brandon Downey x2 & Rory Murphy with a goal and an assist while playing in an unfamiliar position. Gavin Cummins made a brilliant penalty save to keep us ahead and MOTM on the day was Alex O’Sullivan with Darragh O’Connor also standing out for us! A good win to put us back on track! CBL SHIELD GROUP PHASE

Grangevale 7-3 JayBazz
Plenty of new faces playing in this game, we held off a very strong Grangevale team going into halftime at 3-2, unfortunately we lost grips of the game in the second half but with plenty to take away despite the scoreline.
Debutant Damien O’Mahony opened the scoring for us early on with another debutant,
Eoghan O’Sullivan, scoring a rocket of a free kick not long after! Our third came from James Fleming late on at the back post, and it’s good to see him back on the team sheet!
MOTM on the day was Damien who played a stormer in his first game for us!

Jaybazz 4-3 Here’s Health
Here’s Health put the foot down early on scoring 2 goals in the first 20 minutes which made it a mountain to climb epically with the conditions.
In the 43rd minute, Jordan Cambridge managed to pull one back with James McCarthy scoring right before the break to bring it back to 2-2!
Debutant Alex O’Sullivan managed to get his first goal for the club and take the lead for us in the 55th! The game was brought back to 3-3 not long after but it was Eoghan O’Sullivan who put away a penalty in the 90th minute to win us the game!
MOTM on the day was James McCarthy who played a stormer! Alex O’Sullivan and Gavin Cummins played brilliantly for their first games for us!

There has been some new signings made since our last post so we will do a transfer update soon! ⚫️🔴
