Clonmel Rowing Club We are the premier Rowing Club in county Tipperary. Located on Moors Island and known affectionately as "The Island" we row on the river Suir pronounced "Sure".

Founded in 1869, 2019 was our 150th anniversary.

💙🤍 A BIG THANK YOU TO SINÉAD AT ELEVATE FITNESS & PERFORMANCE AND MAMA MOVES! 💪🚣‍♀️

Clonmel Rowing Club would like to extend a huge thank you to Sinéad from Elevate Fitness & Performance and Mama Moves for welcoming our junior athletes into the gym for a fantastic month of strength and conditioning! 👏

With the recent weather keeping our juniors off the river, it was the perfect opportunity to mix things up and introduce them to the world of weightlifting, strength and conditioning.

The sessions provided our athletes with a brilliant foundation to build on, helping them develop strength, confidence, technique and an understanding of the importance of physical preparation for rowing. 💪

It was also great for the group to experience a different training environment, work with a new coach and benefit from a fresh approach to their training. A change of scenery, a different voice and a new challenge made for a really positive experience for the whole group! 🙌

Sinéad, thank you for sharing your knowledge, time and enthusiasm with our juniors. We really appreciate your support in helping our young athletes develop both on and off the water.

Building stronger athletes, one session at a time! 💙🤍
