SOMATIC EXERCISE :
Somatic exercises, through functional movement will assist you to release tight muscles, e.g. neck, shoulders, back, knees and hips etc. and one of the main purposes of somatic exercise is to free your body from constrictions while improving posture, flexibility and movement.
They are performed easily, slowly and gently allowing you the time to understand and notice what is happening in your body, with a certain level of awareness. All classes are delivered in relaxed environment and the majority of the exercises are done while lying on your back, stomach and side.
YOGA FOR MEN :
Practical and functional yoga classes for men. The programme will concentrate on the physical side of Yoga and aims to improve core strength, flexibility and balance. For flexibility yoga stretches the muscles that are tight, which in turn increases the range of motion in related joints. Strengthening the upper body and core helps improve posture during daily activities and a strong core allows the arms and legs to move more efficiently. Yoga helps shape long lean muscles that do not hinder free range of movement in joints.
Yoga and Somatic Exercises can produce other benefits: help prevent injury, promote an overall healthy lifestyle, reduce stress and help you sleep better and deeper.
