We are thrilled to announce Irish International Basketball Legend Jordan Blount will be coaching at our Easter Camp in Ennis next week ⚡️

Jason and Jordan both represented Ireland when the Irish Men’s team won the FIBA Men’s European Championship for Small Countries in 2021 🇮🇪🏆

Jordan recently announced his retirement from international 5v5 basketball and is ready to pass on his knowledge and experience to the next gen 🫡

This is a fantastic opportunity for our young banner ballers to learn from two former Irish Internationals right on their doorstep🏀

What a way to end Women in Sport Week and celebrate International Women’s Day with from 🤩🏀

Clara shared her incredible story from growing up in Spain, moving to America, to her pro season in Ireland. The girls asked her fantastic questions about her journey so far and she shared invaluable advice for when times are challenging 👏

We are so grateful to have shared this experience with young female ballers from over five different clubs. Thanks so much to all who attended 💜

In celebration of Women in Sport Week, Big Man Basketball is thrilled to celebrate female athletes by hosting this exciting Skills with Her Clinic with 2026 National Cup MVP Clara Gómez.

Hailing from Barcelona, Clara has made her impact on Irish Basketball winning MVP and National Cup with Limerick Sport Huskies last month 🥇

Clara also played college basketball for New Hampshire Wildcats in the US 🇺🇸

If you’ve watched Clara play this season so far, you know she’s a dynamic attacking forward with skills that translate all over the floor — we can’t wait to welcome Clara to Ennis to share her skills and knowledge with young aspiring female athletes from clubs all over the region 🏀

We have two sessions available on Sunday March 8th.

➡️ 2-4pm | Age 11-14years
➡️4-6pm | Age 15-18years

Creating a safe and fun environment for our son and kids to be around has been one of the most fulfilling and rewarding things we’ve done since moving to Ennis, Clare ❤️

This is what it’s all about ❤️

Young Emma from our academy joined three weeks ago and is absolutely flying it, what makes it even better is that she is having so much fun — so much so that she drew this wonderful picture in school ❤️

It definitely looks like one of academy’s favourite games to play —boys vs girls, with the girls winning by a mile 😅 (the boys won’t be happy when they see this one Emma! ☺️)

It means so much to us to be sent this photo ❤️🏀
