10th May Tour 3 Ballroom Dunfermline u15 & u18

Started off in the under 18 section, won first match 5-2, lost second match 5-1 and lost a tight match 3-2 in the losers section.

Onto the under 15’s and started to play a lot better.

Last 32 bye ✅
Last 16 4-2 ✅
Quarter final 4-1✅
Semi final 4-3 ✅

Onto the final and continued my decent form against good pal Shaun Murray, managed to come away with a 4-1 victory. Buzzing to get over the line and win my 2nd tour event 🏆🎱👊..

GIBRALTAR NATIONS CUP 2026

Well what can i say brilliant 4 days in Gibraltar 🇬🇮 captaining Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 under 15 b team.
Myself and teammates Sonny Craig ,Declan Screen and Evan Corrigan had great team spirit and gave 100% .

We managed to top the round robin group and advanced to play Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 B1 in semi final , getting the W and into the final.

In the final (first to 8 ) v Northern Ireland B. Great final that was very close all the way until we edged ahead 7-5, unfortunately for us N Ireland managed to win the last 3 frames and take the victory. Totally gutted but great effort from the 4 of us.

Doubles- Played with Sonny Craig and won 1st match 3-1 but lost tight match in quarter final 4-3 v fellow Scots Shaun Murray and Tom Seaton.

Singles - Won first 2 matches v Welsh players Preston and Aaron 5-2 , then beat fellow Scot Tom Seaton also 5-2 in quarters. Onto the semi final v N Ireland player Archie Henderson even game at 2-2 then Archie took last 3 to win 5-2. He then went on to win the Final 6-0 for a well deserved title.

About to head off to bed 😴 the time is here very early start tomorrow to travel to Gibraltar to play for Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 under 15s B team got a great squad again this year, let’s go boys: Sonny. Declan and Evan 💪 and the gaffer of course 🤣 Eck.

22nd March u15 & u18 Tour 2

Started off in the under 18’s section lost my first match and lost my second match in the losers round didn’t play well at all.

On to the under 15’s opened up with two wins which took me to the quarter finals. Although wasn’t potting well managed to scrape through the quarter final and a last frame decider in the semi final. Onto the final and missed chances from me and great play from my opponent Tom Seaton Congratulations on your first Tour victory Tom well deserved 👍.

In summary although not bringing my A game delighted to reach the final of the u15’s.

13th - 15th March Third Division Super 11’s
Played for The Borders B on the above dates, my first experience playing at the supers.
Really enjoyed the occasion and atmosphere and the encouragement I received from my team mates and other team members.

After losing our first match we won our next 4 to top the group, unfortunately we lost in a last frame decider to lose in the last sixteen of the knock outs. Still a great effort as it was the first time The Borders has had a B team at the Supers.

31 August 2025 Under 15’s & u18’s

Under 15’s won first match 4 - 0 then defeated in quarter finals against fellow Scotland B team player Sammy McMillan junior.

Onto under 18’s won the last sixteen match 5 - 3 and disappointedly defeated 5 - 4 in a tight match against Declan Screen.
