The wait is nearly over! 🙌

We’re getting ready for another big season at Charleville & District RFC, and we want to see the club full of familiar faces, new faces, boys and girls, young and old alike! 💪🏉

Whether you’ve played before, are new to the area or just want to try something new — now is the perfect time to get involved.

🔴 Senior Men
Already back training — Wednesdays & Fridays at 7.30pm

🔵 U18.5
Friday 28th August at 7pm
Moving to two evenings a week shortly afterwards.

🟢 U16 / U15
Friday 28th August at 7.30pm
Moving to two evenings a week shortly afterwards.

🟡 U14 / U13
Saturday 5th September
Evening time to be confirmed.

You don’t need to be an experienced rugby player — come along, meet the coaches, meet the players and give it a go.

Our underage teams rely on parents, coaches, volunteers and people willing to lend a hand. If you’d like to get involved with an underage team in any capacity, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t have to be a rugby expert — there are plenty of ways to help.

Not to be for the Ireland U18 Rugby team today in the second game of the U18s International Series being played in South Africa, having been pipped at the post in a thrilling opening game against South Africa A they came up against a fine home side today and were unable to exact revenge but there is still plenty for Charleville & District RFC to be proud of. ❤️💚

We were delighted to see former Charleville player Ryan McCormack named in the Ireland U18 squad and representing his country on the international stage.

Whatever the result, pulling on the green jersey is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud to see one of our own competing at this level. 👏🇮🇪

Well done, Ryan — from everyone at Charleville & District RFC.

Next game is on Saturday vs Georgia U18s, best of luck Ryan and the team.

We are saddened to hear of Teresa's untimely passing, Teresa played on the first ever women's rugby team in Charleville, taken too soon, may she rest in peace, our thoughts and prayers are with the Rea and O'Connor families at this sad time.May she rest in peace.
