Hi all,

In light of the current situation in Ukraine, we have planned a fun evening of tennis, with the hope of raising some funds to donate to the Red Cross for Ukraine. Both members and non-members are invited come together play some tennis and help raise some money.

Revolut has committed to doubling all donations made to The Red Cross for Ukraine up until the 8th March. Therefore, we have decided to host this fun evening of tennis on Monday 7th of March from 6pm until 9pm.

We’ll have a bucket for donations on the evening and then we’ll make the transfer via Revolut later that night to double the donation value.

You do not have to be a member to participate.

Just a reminder that club night is in tonight and each Monday night from 7pm to 9pm...we’ll rotate players between the two courts so that everyone gets some games...also looking forward to welcoming our newer members and potential members who want to try it out before joining ... 👍🏻

The funds at Milford Lawn Tennis Club in Milford Co. Cork have been badly affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The gates remained closed. Membership is down and the club is really struggling to cover basic costs such as insurance, electricity standing charges and payment for general upkeep of the grounds. We really need the help of past and present members, people who have had the pleasure of using the courts to play social tennis and the local community in general. Please give what you can to help save the Milford Lawn Tennis Club. We thank you all so much for your continued support and we look forward to returning to play tennis at the club again soon.

*Social Tennis night is back*

~Every Monday night from Monday 10th August.

~7pm-9:30pm

~ Social tennis is the perfect opportunity for all new and long term members to meet and play a few games of doubles.

~Both courts will be reserved for Social Tennis each Monday from 7pm - 9:30pm.

The format is simple:
•When you arrive, you make up a foursome with other members and take up a court.
•We rotate players/pairings after 4 games so that everybody gets the same playing time.

Please spread the word, and we hope to see you all there!
