Great days racing yesterday in Kirkistown.

Great to get back out at Kirkistown I haven't raced here since 2020 so had to try remember which way to go 🤣

Qualifying was a lovely and wet so had to take my time and stay upright.
Classic p3
125/moto3 p5

Classic race
It was still a bit damp in places so just steady away went down to p5 at one stage for a few laps and then on the last two laps I put the head down and managed a p2 overall and p1 in class. I got the fastest lap also, so was starting on pole for race 2. Race 2 I led from the very beginning and just got quicker as the race went on so p1 overall and p1 in class.

125/moto3 race
Got a good start but them young ones just cleared off and left me by the 3rd corner. Was a quiet race but good to get up to speed and familiarise myself with the track. With a few of the leaders crashing I came home with a p3. Race 2 got a good start was up to p3 into the fist corner but again was shown how to properly ride a bike 🤣 I was able to keep them in sight for a few laps this time though so I suppose that's something. So p5 in race 2.

Overall a great weekend and good to get back out. Huge thank you to Riz Mike at ARN Race Leathers who supplied me with a custom set of race leathers for the season ahead. Great fit and so easy to move around in.

As always a huge thank you to my family who are always by my side. And to all my sponsors.

Cookstown 100 2026

A great start to the 2026 season. I went to Cookstown with little to no winter testing, bar a few laps round Mondello on the 125 a few weeks ago.

Practice went well, just slow and steady to build myself up. Also to make sure the bikes were all set up properly after the winter.

Classic 350
Started from p5. Steady start got past a few lads on the second lap and got tagged onto the back of Dan Sayle for a couple of laps which pulled me away from the rest of the pack. Ended up finishing in p3 which I am really happy with.

Moto3/ 125gp
Strated from p10 overall (p8 in class) got a good start. Put the head down and got away from the rest of the pack apart from Gary Jordan who was right on my back wheel for the entire race. I managed to stay ahead for the whole race and came home in p7 (p5 in class).

I am over the moon with my results and to come away first 125 and p5 up against moto3s is just class. My goal is always just to go as fast as I can. It doesn't bother me where I am once I had a good race and went as fast as I could go, and weekends like this where I come away with a p3 and p5 just makes all the hard work pay off.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me and everyone who supports me.

Thank you Ben at Raysons Exhausts for a class set of pipes for the 350 also.

Haven't been putting up much lately as I have been busy getting bikes ready.

Gone for a new old look for the 125 this year. I think it looks class.

What do you think?

2026 is a go!

Today I got the news that I have been invited over to the Isle Of Man to complete my newcomers weekend.

This is great news as it is the first step I need to take to get down Bray Hill.

Now it's time to get bikes ready. The wee 125 will be getting her winter shake down this weekend and hopefully get it ready for the crazy season ahead.

The classic needs a bit more work to get it ready for the season but some more to come on that later 🤫

Anybody who would like to come on board this season to help me and my family out, it would be really appreciated and you can get your sticker or name put on either of my bikes.

Not sure how many rounds I will get to do this year as I need to save my bikes for the TT as I don't have many spares or loads of money to keep them going. I am however open to riding a bike for somebody who is willing to put me on one. I have good results and I am a steady rider. Classic, 125 or even a moto3.

Thanks again to everyone for helping me out in 2025.

Big year next year finger crossed, im looking for as much help as I can get from everyone. Every little bit goes along way and as you all know I do it all out of my own pocket which is getting harder as things are getting more expensive.

Thanks to Derek Honda from Shed 4 Bikers for all his support and making up this poster for me.

2026 Season

We all know it's not quite 2026 yet but many of us are already thinking so far ahead and preparing for what's coming next year.

So for 2026 I'm going to try and compete at the Classic TT.

I say I'm going to try because there is so much to learn and so much that needs to happen before I get to the top of Bray Hill.

I need to get new leathers, helmet, spare parts and much more.

I am hoping to get an entry for the Junior Classic and I'm also going to try get an entry for the Ultra-Lightweight.

So a very busy off season for me to try get everything ready and get all the bits gathered up.

I would like to ask everyone who wants to come onboard and help out to get in contact with me, Whether it be for spare parts, sponsorship or for some advice, everything is taken onboard.

I will be in contact with my sponsors from this season to see if they want to come onboard again for 2026, and hopefully see their name on my bikes at the Isle Of Man.

Thanks again.

Right lads and lassies it's about time I put up a post.

My 2025 season finished up at the classic bike festival in August. With a lot going on at home I won't get out again for the rest of the season.

2025 was fairly good for me with a few short circuit wins and podiums, and few podiums on the roads.

My favourite race this year was Tandragee where I got to battle with the best classic racer of modern times Barry Davidson. It was close racing but fair, it was fast but smooth I enjoyed every second of it and wished my bike had kept running right so I could have battled till the end of the race.

I have big plans for next year. I'm not revealing anything yet but I will in due time.

I'd like to thank all my sponsors for coming onboard this year. It's actually my first year to have sponsors to thank. So thank you

Without any of ye helping me out with costs I wouldn't be where I am on a competitive level. I hope I can get ye back onboard for next year as it's going to be a big one 🤞

A massive thank you to my family who put in so much effort and time just for me. They are at every race meeting by my side. And if they're not there they are watching times and texting me. They keep my bikes right and every meeting they help me work on them, they get stuck into every problem I cause for them 🫣. Without any of ye I wouldnt be out racing at all.

Thank you everyone for all the comments on my posts throughout the year and all the shares.

Here's just a few moments from the season.

Classic Bike Festival Ireland

Qualifying-
Bike went good, qualified 4th overall (3rd in class).

Races-
R1- P1
R2- P1
R3- P2

Overall P1. Well happy with the weekend especially finishing in P1 with a broken exhaust in R2 and P2 in R3. The exhaust broke at the head so the bike lost a good bit of power and on these classics you need to keep every bit you have.

Posted my fastest times round Bishoupscourt too so always improving.

That might be my last race on the classic for the rest of the season. It was a great year and I'm finally getting the results I need.

Thank you to my family who come with me to every single round cook for me, keep the bike right, scrutineering, fix all my mishaps and keep me smiling and in good spirits.

Thank you to my sponsors

For anybody who would like to come on board for next season and to help get the bikes sorted over the winter please get in touch as every single bit helps keep me going and keeps the bikes on the grid.

I might get out once more this season on the 125 or if something comes up I might get the classic out.
