Monday - Kingscourt Community Centre (A82 N8K5) - 7.30pm to 9.30pm

As part of European Week of Sport, join our 6 week 'Intro to Golf' programme, perfect for beginners aged 55+! Learn the basics, build confidence and have fun in a supportive, relaxing setting.

Participants will develop fundamental golf skills, improve physical and mental wellbeing, meet new people and gain the confidence to continue playing golf long after the programme ends.

📅Date: Programme begins on Thursday, September 24th and runs for 6 weeks

🏋️‍♂️Men on the Move - Cavan Town, Ballyjamesduff & Cootehill🚶‍♂️‍➡️

To celebrate European Week of Sport we are delighted to be offering FREE, Men only physical activity programmes in 3 locations!

Men on the Move is a physical activity programme that is aimed at adult men, to support them to become more active, and improve their fitness and energy levels.

It involves twice weekly structured physical activity sessions over a period of 5 or 10 weeks that are led by qualified instructors. Classes are tailored to a level and pace that suits the participants.

🏌️‍♀️Chip and Chat: Women's Social Golf Community Meetup🏌️‍♀️

On September 17th Golf Ireland will be holding a Chip and Chat event taking place at Cavan Golf Club from 6pm to 8pm. Booking link below.

Chip & Chat is Ireland’s first Women’s Social Golf Community and we aim to provide an engaging, fun, and safe space for women of all abilities to connect with those of a similar age and play golf in a variety of ways.

On the night, attendees can socialise and have some fun whilst practicing their skills at the Co. Cavan Driving Range.

This event will be a Driving Range experience. Music and nibbles will be provided, whilst there will also be a number of our PGA Pro Golfers on hand to help you get the most out of your experience.

Cavan Sports Partnership are delighted to announce our first Volunteers in Sports Awards Night, taking place on November 5th in the Kilmore Hotel.

We are inviting nominations for the volunteers in your clubs and organisations who really make a difference. From coaches and committee members to fundraisers and volunteers working behind the scenes, help us recognise the people who make sport happen across County Cavan.❣️

Without volunteers, sport as we know it could not exist. From coaching and administration to fundraising and event organisation, volunteers are the backbone of our clubs and communities. Their dedication creates opportunities for thousands of people across County Cavan to participate in various sports.

Each sports club in Cavan is eligible to nominate one volunteer from their club who they feel deserve to be recognised and celebrated for their contribution to sport within their club and local community.
