Race Report USBK Championship Rnd 4 - Kirkistown 06/06/26

Saturday morning with an early start from home Team Cahoon arrived at Kirkistown to a damp and cold day. After setup and Scruitineering first Qualifying was for Bryan Hardings Moto3 Honda. Track condition were wet and we know how fast a young lady is in the wet Ciara headed of and she only went out and put it on pole position with a fastest lap of 1:09.5 which was her first pole position since joining the USBK paddock. Onto racing and in race one ciara was going well only to have a slip of at the Hairpin. Into race two and after a few repairs to the machine again Ciara ran strong in the class bringing the machine home in 4th place.

Onto the Supersport Cup class riding her own Honda CBR600RR Ciara carried the momentum and experience she had gained from the Aintree race meeting to once again put herself in pole position for the Cup race only marginally missing out on getting into the pro class with a fastest time of 1:06.5. Into her racing and a dry track Ciara finished in 6th. In race two Ciara finished in 8th running lap times throughout both race's of 1:02's. With Aintree next weekend Ciara in race two went into get it home mode with no damage so everything was in good shape for Liverpool.

So another good solid race meeting from Ciara, learning with every outing, this being only her forth meeting on the 600 and she is showing her protential at such a young age.

We would like to Thank the Belfast & District Motorcycle Club for a well run meeting and to all Officials, Marshals ( road and flag ) and medics.

Race Preview - Round 4 USBK Championship, Kirkistown 06/06/2026

This weekend starts what will be a very busy summer for Team Cahoon. On Saturday we will be at Kirkistown for the next round of the USBK Championship run by the Belfast and District Motorcycle Club. Ciara will be participating in her usual classes of Moto3 and Supersport Cup. In Moto3 Ciara will ride Bryan Harding's Honda and after the last round at Bishopscourt Ciara will once again be hot on the heals of the front runner's. With this being part of the B & D Championship we hope for good result's. In the Supersport Cup class Ciara will be back on board her Honda CBR600RR and after the fantastic weekend she had at Aintree winning the Supersport class and the first 600 machine home in the Memorial race. That event took place in the wet and with the forecast not looking great Ciara should be up for the challenge as it'll level the playing field, and we know how much she loves the damp conditions.
