Bay Rover’s U14 girls will be competing in the West Cork Schoolboys and Schoolgirls League Shield Final tomorrow Sat 13th against Riverside Athletic at Lyre Rovers pitch with a 12 o’clock kick off.

Our club lotto took place Wednesday evening...
Numbers drawn were 7, 26, 27, & 31. Unfortunately there was no main winner.
The three lucky dip winners of €50 each were Helen O’Neil, Helen Arundle & Michelle O Sullivan.
Well done.

Our U 11 boys had a home West Cork Schoolboys and Schoolgirls League game on Saturday against Dunmanway Town Soccer Club coming away with a nice win with good team work from everyone and goals on the day from Aaron O Connor and a hat trick from Joe Mulhall.

Bay Rovers U15’s travelled to BEARA UNITED FC Wednesday evening for their first match in the West Cork Schoolboys and Schoolgirls League.
Under tough and windy conditions, Bay Rovers took the lead in the first half with a goal scored by captain on the day, Conor OLeary.
Bay Rovers held strong through the first half leading half time up 1-0.
The second half was a different beast.
With many attempts blown wide or off the post Bay Rovers could not find the net, all while conceding 4 goals.
A final setup in the last minutes by Tadhg Harrington lined Killian OSullivan up for another goal from Bay Rovers leaving the score at FT 4-2 to Beara United.

Thanks to Beara for a great game and for hosting and to referee Colin Clancy.
Much appreciation to the parents for their support.
And well done to all the lads who are preparing for the Sheild final in a couple of weeks.

Our U15 Bay Rovers Celtic boys travelled to Clonakilty AFC for a West Cork Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Shield semifinal on Thursday.
With fantastic teamwork and dedication right to the end of the game Bay Rovers came out the winners with 2-1 at full time.
Both Bay Rovers scores were scored by Conor O’Leary.
Standout players on the day as well as Conor were Leo Schultz, Jack Whooley and Blake Hegarty.
Well done boys!

Our U14 Bay Rovers Boys hosted Togher Celtic U14 on Thursday 28th May in a West Cork Schoolboys and Schoolgirls League One game.

Rovers started the stronger and despite numerous close attempts and some strong goalkeeping it took 20 minute before Tadhg Harrington put them ahead.

Rovers started the 2nd half in a very positive manor and got their second goal in the 50th minute through Jaron Kersten, followed quickly with the final goal from Oskar Ustjanowski to round off a convincing win.

Standout Player on the day was Tommy Farley with star players Nathan Meeney and Charlie Allen playing at a very high level.

Thanks as always to our supporters and kit sponsor New Town pharmacy and thanks to referee Tadgh O’ Sullivan.
