High-Scoring First Practice Match of the season Sees Tigers Edge Budapest Zwanan
In the first practice match of the season, with many new faces in the team, Budapest Zwanan delivered an encouraging performance in a thrilling high-scoring contest, eventually falling short as Tigers chased down the target to win by 7 wickets.
Batting first, Budapest Zwanan posted a strong 198/4 in 20 overs, showing depth, intent, and plenty of promise. Malik Abdul Moiz led the way with an outstanding 60 off 36 balls, playing an aggressive knock that included 6 fours and 4 sixes. He was well supported by Muhammad Soban Bhutta, who made a composed 41 off 34 balls before retiring out, helping hold the innings together through the middle overs.
At the top, Mohammed Tabrezi gave the side early momentum with a quick 20 off 11 balls, while the finishing was provided in style by Rana Moaz, who remained unbeaten on 29 from just 13 balls, and Danish Khan, who added an unbeaten 18 off 10 deliveries.
