It’s always special watching players who have been part of our story over the years take the court at the US Open
Jasmine Paolini reached the third round before falling to Sorana Cirstea Cîrstea. Nadia Podoroska, who played with us back in the Futures tournamets in Bol, faced Iga Świątek in the second round, while the first round brought an especially interesting clash between two of our champions Masha Timofeeva this year’s WTA Makarska Open champion, and Tamara Zidanšek a two-time Bol champion in 2018 and 2019.
And then there was Maya Joint Alongside Chan Hao-ching, Maya defeated Serena Williams and Venus Williams in a thrilling doubles battle.
From the early days in Bol to Makarska and Dubrovnik, we’re proud to have watched these players grow, compete and make their mark on the biggest stages of the sport.
