What a day for the U12 Workington Reds AFC Girls Academy at the Forza Academy Tournament! 🔥⚽

Four fiercely contested games against top Academy & GSL opposition, with the girls showing incredible determination, quality & character throughout 💪

A fantastic group stage performance saw us secure a place in the Premier semi-final — a brilliant achievement against such strong opposition 🙌

The semi-final against Derby County was another hugely competitive game, with just a Derby free kick separating the sides..

The effort, attitude, teamwork & resilience on show were outstanding from start to finish. Every player played their part & represented the club brilliant 🤩

A huge thank you to all the players, parents & supporters who made the journey & got behind the team 👏

What a fantastic experience & opportunity for our awesome U11s Workington Reds AFC Girls Academy on their trip to Wigan Schools Football Association ⚽🔥

The girls were outstanding from start to finish, showing great teamwork, energy & consistency while playing the Academy way 🙌

Well done girls another determined performance & brilliant football on show 🔴⚽️

The girls had the chance to learn some great technique, take part in a Q&A session & they definitely didn’t hold back with the questions 😊

A brilliant experience for them all & a great opportunity to learn what it takes to reach the top level & become the best versions of themselves 🤩
