Congratulations to Club Captain Jay Symonds on scoring his first try for the club against West Cumbria Masters RLFC last night leading by example!

Jay led the team really well last night with his guidance as well as coach Ryan Tinnion taking on his first game as manager but it was just short again as we fell short to a 28-24- defeat in a very close game.

Our man of the match was Luke Hewitson who had an outstanding performance on the wing scoring a hat trick and constantly breaking the defensive line! Luke is sponsored by West Coast Skip and Plant Hire

West Cumbria Masters RLFC Vs Workington Storm RLFC

Just a reminder that Tommorow we take on the West Cumbria Masters at the Recreation Ground Stadium! 6pm Kick off

We are very grateful for the opportunity to play in a professional stadium and would like to thank West Cumbria Masters and Whitehaven Rugby League 2010 for their accommodation of the fixture 💜⚡️

This time last year most at the club had never picked up a rugby ball before so to be playing in a professional rugby stadium is a massive achievement for all at the club and feels like a personal milestone for how far everyone at the club has came! Looking forward to the new challenge tomorrow and we hope to provide a great game of Rugby League for all 💜

Workington Storm RLFC vs West Cumbria Masters RLFC

West Cumbria Masters RLFC are kindly hosting the Workington Storm this Monday in a friendly fixture at the Recreation Ground Stadium, home of professional club Whitehaven Rugby League 2010

This will be a great experience for all to play in a professional rugby stadium against a very well experienced side. We all cannot wait and are greatly looking forward to the opportunity thanks again to West Cumbria Masters and Whitehaven RLFC for hosting us and we hope all enjoy a great game of Rugby💜⚡️

POSITIVITY POST - Part 3

This positivity post is dedicated to Ryan Tinnion who became the 3rd playing member of the club to have been promoted to the coaching team. Ryan has been involved in the club since it was just an idea and was at our first session over a year ago and has been coming down ever since providing the club with a unique range of services to help us grow.

Not only is Ryan a player and now a coach he also acts as the clubs main photographer/videographer through his photography business Rtinnionphotography which he also used to provide the club with our playing shorts sponsor and a couple of player sponsors.

Ryan was promoted to the coaching team after showing great enthusiasm and leadership especially with new players making them all feel welcome while providing great guidance for people in a new environment. We gave Ryan a trial as coach and let him take the last 2 sessions and after impressing all and providing great sessions the club's board voted him to join the coaching staff ⚡️

Well done Ryan Marra 👏 very well deserved after everything you have done for the club 💜⚡️
