A huge thankyou must also go to Parth. Parth joined us from Roseville CC over the summer and was an absolute joy to have at the club. He settled into Woolpit and the local area like he had been here for years. Always with a smile on his face and cracking jokes, he was an absolute joy to be around, helping with coaching, volunteering, behind the bar and so much more.

On the pitch, Parth was an ever-present in the 1st XI and played a huge part in our incredible league-winning & Premier League promotion campaign. He ended the season as top wicket-taker with 30 wickets at an average of 18.16, including 3-26 in the play-off final!

It’s been a pleasure to have to you at Woolpit. All the best in your season down-under and we will no doubt see you again soon 🐺💚

We’re delighted to announce our fixtures for the 1st XIs first season back in the Premier League in 11 years! The start couldn’t get much harder for the squad as we take on last seasons top three in the Premier League table in our opening three fixtures of the campaign.

We want to say a huge thank you to our Kiwis Neena & Dayle for everything they gave Woolpit Cricket Club in 2026.

Neena amassed 800+ runs with a career best top score of 186* and also took 36 wickets whilst Dayle took 26 wickets including a hattrick and also hit a career best 65* along the way.

Both have been invaluable on and off the pitch to the club across the summer. Playing in almost every side we have available at Woolpit, they also helped with volunteering regularly including running the bar, summer camps, coaching, managing junior teams and inspiring female cricketers of all ages all with a smile on their faces.

We hope to see you both soon & best of luck with your seasons back home at Howick Pakuranga. It’s been an absolute pleasure to have you at the club 🇳🇿🐺

A few snaps from yesterday’s momentous occasion. Thankyou to everyone who turned out to support. A serious show of numbers at Rectory Lane to witness quite the day. 💚🐺

Yesterday was so much more than one result & one promotion. It was 10 years of hard work and dedication. Not just from the players on the pitch but those off it too. To Kathy our incredible scorer, the ground staff, supporters, the volunteers who have made & served the teas and run the bar and everything few and far between, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication. Not just yesterday, but for the countless previous years. These are the rewards you reap when everyone comes together to create the atmosphere we have at the club & we could not have done it without every single person. An incredible summer comes to a close and this was just the cherry on top of the cake. Congratulations once again to all involved 🐺🏆💚
