Tip for a Stay: Little Valley

Location: Wiston, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Little Valley is in the heart of Pembrokeshire in the historic village of Wiston, close to the ancient county town of Haverfordwest.
There are many local places to visit that are close to Little Valley. These include the seaside town of Tenby with four beautiful beaches and these can rival any others in the world. From Tenby you can also visit Caldey Island which lies cradled in the magnificent South Pembrokeshire coastline and is one of Britain's holy islands.
Close to Tenby is the large coastal village of Saundersfoot with beautiful scenery and high quality restaurants and cafes.
Little Valley is very close to the gorgeous market town of Narberth which has many multi-coloured Edwardian and Georgian buildings and well-known as a shoppers heaven.
We are also convenient for exploring Solva and the St Davids Peninsula where you can experience a colourful coastline with heaps of history that’s been a cultural hotspot for thousands of years.

This CL offers 5 five well maintained pitches.

Pembrokeshire County Council has made the right decision not to take forward a visitor levy. The sector has had a bruising few years and the cumulative impact of several policies and changes has heaped pressure on tourism businesses across the county.

Tourism is a huge part of the Pembrokeshire economy. Many local people work in the industry or know someone who does. Protecting the sustainability of the sector for years to come is key and I believe operators across Pembrokeshire will breathe a sigh of relief at the Council’s decision not to implement this levy.

Nevertheless, this doesn’t stop future Councils implementing this damaging policy. I will continue to oppose the Visitor Levy at the Senedd and stand up for tourism businesses across Pembrokeshire.
